Were dedicated to delivering exceptional service, building trusted partnerships, and ensuring an outstanding experience throughout the customer journey.</p> <p>We’re looking for a proactive <strong>Account Executive</strong> with a strong background in e-commerce and FinTech to join our expanding Commercial team. This role focuses on driving growth across e-commerce verticals, developing strategic relationships, and taking ownership of the entire sales cycle — from prospecting to activation and beyond.</p> <p>This is a high-impact role where you’ll be at the forefront of bringing open banking payments to some of the most innovative e-commerce brands in Europe.</p> <p><strong>What we expect from you as an Account Executive:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own the full sales cycle: from initial outreach to contract negotiation and go-live.</li> <li>Develop a deep understanding of the e-commerce landscape to identify and convert high-potential merchants.</li> <li>Build and manage a robust pipeline of strategic accounts and partnerships across e-commerce verticals.</li> <li>Design and execute creative outreach campaigns to engage prospects.</li> <li>Work closely with Sales Development Representatives to qualify leads and set up high-quality meetings.</li> <li>Collaborate with Sales Engineering and Integration teams to ensure smooth technical onboarding.</li> <li>Work with the Underwriting and Risk Teams to adhere to regulatory compliance and thorough due diligence processes </li> <li>Represent TrueLayer at industry events, building our brand and identifying business opportunities.</li> <li>Partner with Marketing to optimise campaigns and sales enablement efforts.</li> <li>Stay informed about market trends, client needs, and competitive developments in the e-commerce space.</li> <li>Use data and reporting tools to measure sales performance, identify opportunities for growth, and drive decision-making.</li> <li>Serve as the voice of the customer in product discussions, helping to shape the future of our solutions.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About you:</strong></p> <ul> <li>You have experience in a commercial role, ideally covering both SDR and AE responsibilities.</li> <li>Background in <strong>FinTech, SaaS, payments</strong>, or a similar high-growth, tech-driven environment.</li> <li>Experience applying MEDDICC (or other structured qualification frameworks) to drive effective sales cycles.</li> <li>Proven track record of success in e-commerce-related sales or partnership development.</li> <li>Comfortable building relationships across all levels of a business, from technical leads to executive stakeholders.</li> <li>Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.</li> <li>Curious, entrepreneurial, and driven to learn about client challenges and market opportunities.</li> <li>Thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.</li> <li>Open to feedback and eager to continuously learn and refine your approach.</li> </ul> <p>If you are excited about shaping the future of FinTech and accelerating innovation in the financial services sector, we would be excited to hear from you!</p> <p><strong>Don’t meet all the requirements?</strong></p> <p>Multiple studies have shown that women and people of underrepresented groups are sometimes less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single requirement.  At TrueLayer, we are committed to building a diverse workforce, so if you are excited about this role and have the essential skills, but not the entire checklist - we’d still love to hear from you!</p> <h2>Benefits </h2> <p><strong>What you can expect from us:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Meaningful equity in the company 💰</li> <li>Flexible hours and hybrid working.
