The Manager of Revenue Accounting will be responsible for a variety of key accounting functions, with an emphasis on leadership, operational excellence, and industry best practices. Toast, Inc. seeks a strategic forward thinking Manager to lead complex close processes and drive solutions to benefit cross-functional teams and reporting goals.  About this roll* (Responsibilities) <ul> <li>Lead an accurate and timely month-end close process by driving solutions that scale and support reporting objectives.</li> <li>Own the accounting of accounts receivable and the key estimates surrounding the allowance for doubtful accounts. Maintain precise reconciliations of key accounts.</li> <li>Own key internal and external revenue reporting metrics and disclosures for quarterly filings.</li> <li>Support the company’s growth, in particular the integration of revenue accounting of new offerings and non-integrated companies.</li> <li>Streamline and enhance processes and SOX compliant controls around revenue and related financial reporting metrics. Create efficiencies and simplification by leveraging technology solutions and automation.</li> <li>Lead collaboration with our cross functional partners, such as RevOps, Finance and FP&amp;A, Accounting, and Product. Communicate the accounting implication to stakeholders at all levels.</li> <li>Provide oversight to Staff and Senior Accountants both onshore and offshore</li> </ul> Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements) <ul> <li>8+ years of relevant revenue accounting experience.</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong cross-functional relationships.</li> <li>Ability to meet tight deadlines, work independently, prioritize competing workloads, and manage the deliverables from business partners and team members in a fast paced environment.</li> <li>Strong analytical skills, including ability to independently analyze key metrics, transactions, and contracts</li> <li>Experience with data platform engines (Snowflake preferred) and advanced excel skills</li> <li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment</li> </ul> Special Sauce* (Nice-to-Have Skills) <ul> <li>CPA preferred</li> <li>Experience with other accounting engines (NetSuite, RevPro, etc.)</li> </ul> *We love a good food/bread pun!
