At Stigg, every engineer is expected to make a significant impact.</p><p>If you’re excited to contribute to a world-class engineering team and shape the future of developer experiences at scale, we’d love to hear from you.</p><p></p><h3>What will be your primary goals 🎯</h3><ul> <li>Promoting a <a href="https://www.stigg.io/blog-posts/developer-first-as-a-company-value">dev-first experience</a> for our engineering team and our customers (which are developers too!)</li> <li>Building a large scale and fault-tolerant system</li> <li>Maintaining a framework of SDKs and tools that allows applications to seamlessly handle changes in customer subscriptions and product offerings.</li> <li>Owning and delivering features end-to-end from ideation through design and implementation to shipping and monitoring.</li> <li>Making architecture decisions</li> <li>Continuously improve our codebase and push the bar</li> </ul><p></p><p></p><h3>What we think can help you achieve your goals 🏆</h3><ul> <li>6+ years of backend software development experience, preferably in NodeJS and Typescript</li> <li>2+ years of frontend software development experience, especially in React</li> <li>Proven experience in building APIs and Microservices</li> <li>Good understanding of how queues and databases work, especially SQS, Kinesis, PostgreSQL, Clickhouse and DynamoDB</li> <li>Good understanding of Docker containers, Serverless applications and AWS Lambda</li> <li>Familiar with cloud computing services, especially AWS</li> <li>Experience with NestJS and TypeORM</li> </ul><h3>Bonus points:</h3><ul> <li>Familiar with SDK development</li> <li>Excited to build stuff from scratch</li> <li>Pragmatic and somewhat opinionated</li> </ul>
