In this role, you’ll drive UI architecture, design scalable and secure web applications, and provide technical leadership to fellow engineers. You’ll collaborate closely with product owners and managers to translate business needs into high-quality solutions while ensuring best practices in performance, security, and scalability.  The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with 5+ years of experience building enterprise-grade web applications, a deep understanding of modern front-end development, and solid knowledge of back-end services and cloud hosting. If you are passionate about clean code, delivering great user experiences, and mentoring others while working with cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you.  Responsibilities: <ul><li>Work as part of an agile development team to design, estimate, develop, test and deliver commercial software products.</li><li>Drive UI architecture, design and develop rich UI web applications and reusable UI components.</li><li>Ensure best practices, design guidelines for UI development</li><li>Provide technical leadership to fellow UI engineers.</li><li>Write clean code to develop functional web applications and server-side applications</li><li>Develop and design generic, secure &amp; scalable RESTful services and APIs</li><li>Write unit and integration tests and collaborate with QA for resolution of issues</li><li>Collaborate with product owners and product managers to understand business requirements and for user story creation and refinement.</li><li>Provide input for project estimation, planning, timelines, and status</li><li>Perform other duties and responsibilities, as necessary.</li></ul>Required Experience:<ul><li>8+ years of Web Front End development using various technologies, frameworks, and tools</li><li>Strong experience with REACT and JavaScript/TypeScript for Web UIs.</li><li>Good experience with C#, JSON, REST APIs</li><li>In-depth understanding of web development</li><li>Knowledge of best practices in back-end architecture, including performance, security and scalability</li><li>Experience with Azure Cloud hosting and scaling web applications</li><li>Knowledge of Azure technologies and environment</li><li>Knowledge in authentication concepts and technologies such as OAuth, OpenID, Azure Active Directory B2C</li><li>Working knowledge of Agile Scrum development methodologies</li><li>Working knowledge of Azure Dev Ops.</li><li>Domain knowledge in life-cycle assessment is an asset</li></ul>Required Education: <ul><li>University degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience.</li></ul>Skills:<ul><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Work effectively independently and in a dynamic team environment.</li><li>Proven time management, organizational and follow-up skills to meet deadlines</li><li>Quality-oriented with a passion for customer satisfaction</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills</li><li>Must be willing to learn new technologies and processes as needed.</li><li>Strong work ethic and professionalism</li><li>Good communication skills in English.</li></ul>#LI-SM1#LI-Remote Sphera is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
