We manage the core infrastructure, ensuring a reliable and scalable environment for development teams. Our responsibilities include maintaining and evolving our Kubernetes and EC2 infrastructure, and we are currently exploring multi-cloud strategies, including GCP. We are a small, collaborative team that values ownership, automation, and continuous improvement.What you will be doing: <ul><li>Design, build, and maintain our core compute infrastructure, primarily using Kubernetes and EC2.</li><li>Utilize Terraform for infrastructure-as-code (IaC) to manage and provision resources.</li><li>Automate configuration management with Chef to ensure consistency across our fleet.</li><li>Manage our internal software packages using Aptly.</li><li>Collaborate with service owners to provide support and guidance on best practices for using our platform.</li><li>Participate in on-call rotations to support our production environment and respond to incidents.</li><li>Research and implement new technologies as we expand into a multi-cloud environment, including exploring multi-architecture support for our containerized workloads.</li></ul>What you should have: <ul><li>Proven experience managing production-grade infrastructure with Kubernetes and EC2.</li><li>Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.</li><li>Experience with configuration management tools like Chef (or similar, such as Puppet or Ansible).</li><li>Familiarity with package management, ideally with Aptly.</li><li>Knowledge of cloud platforms beyond AWS, particularly GCP, is a plus.</li><li>Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or Go.</li><li>Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, etc.) and security best practices.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative attitude.</li></ul>Unleash Your PotentialWhen you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life.
