This platform will power the key processes in Human Resources and Finance. The Sr. Workday Engineer - Automation, is a member of the Integration/Automation team at ServiceTitan. In this role, you will support the cross-functional teams by serving as a technical resource for the Workday HCM, Finance, Tax and Payroll. You will design, develop and maintain inbound and outbound Enterprise Systems integrations. In addition, with your technical expertise, you will collaborate with functional leads and analysts to develop advanced reports, complementing their efforts and enhancing our overall reporting capabilities. The ideal candidate will have prior Workday technical experience and prior software programming experience.What youll do:<ul><li>Lead the research, design, development, testing, and delivery of new Workday and third-party systems integrations</li><li>Collaborate with business stakeholders and vendors to develop technical solution design to support business processes</li><li>Collaborate with HR, Finance &amp; IT counterparts to understand the business problems and build efficient solutions using the Workday platform, middleware tools and the related capabilities of source and target systems</li><li>Create technical design specs, perform unit &amp; system integration testing, deploy and support of all Workday and third-party system integrations</li><li>Configure and develop technical integrations using Workday Studio, Workato, Zapier, Workday RaaS Integrations, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Complex Calculated Fields, Web Services, Workday Custom Reports, Web Services, XSLT, and xPath</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to assess document requirements, review design, and define functional specifications</li><li>Manage Workday Integration analysis, system configurations, and deployment to production</li><li>Lead integration projects with third-party vendors from discovery, design, development, testing and implementation</li><li>Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating the Workday cloud application with external applications across a wide array of HCM and Financial functional areas</li><li>Responsible for timely identification and escalation of risks and development of alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary</li><li>Create detailed integration specifications, field mappings, and designs to support the entire integration deployment life-cycle</li><li>Research integration failures, perform root cause analyses, and report back to management and business leaders</li><li>Collaborate with functional leads, analysts, and system administrators on system operations, security, business processes and how it relates to integrations</li><li>Assist functional leads in configuring complex business processes, including building calculated fields and advanced routing rules</li><li>Assume additional responsibilities as required</li></ul>  What youll bring:<ul><li>Bachelors degree or equivalent</li><li>Minimum 7+ years of Workday HCM, Payroll &amp; Finance Integrations experience</li><li>Strong working knowledge of Workday Studio Development</li><li>Strong working knowledge of Workday EIB, RaaS, and Web Services</li><li>Strong working knowledge of SOAP, REST, XML and XSLT, Java</li><li>Must have expertise in EIB , Report Writer , Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT) &amp; Cloud Connect</li><li>Workday integrations experience required with a good understanding of integration design and testing concepts and integration frameworks (e.g., middleware, transformation logic)</li><li>Knowledge of all phases of system development lifecycle, including production support.</li><li>Strong analytical skills, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication with a focus on documentation, and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment</li><li>Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively while demonstrating a sense of urgency</li><li>Having experience in middleware tools such as Workato, Zapier, Mulesoft is a plus.</li></ul>Be Human With Us:Being human isn’t about checking every box on a list. We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation.The expected salary range for this role for candidates residing in the United States is between $113,100 USD - $151,300 USD. Compensation for candidates residing outside the United States will vary by location and the specific salary range will be discussed during the hiring process. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
