What youll do:<ul><li>Design, implement, and maintain core components of the reporting and dashboard infrastructure.</li><li>Work across the data stack including ingestion, transformation (DBT, MetricFlow), warehousing (Snowflake), and possibly visualization (React).</li><li>Develop performant and reusable APIs and services to support dynamic, metadata-driven reporting experiences.</li><li>Embed BI tools and build connectors to bring intelligence into user-facing analytics.</li><li>Collaborate with Product and Design to deliver user-friendly, intuitive dashboarding and reporting features.</li><li>Apply software engineering best practices (testing, CI/CD, monitoring, code review) to ensure quality and maintainability.</li><li>Participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews to mentor junior team members and raise the team’s technical bar.</li><li>Identify opportunities to bring intelligence and automation into reporting workflows, including applying Agentic AI where appropriate.</li><li>Drive continuous performance and usability improvements for reporting features.</li><li>Work with product managers, designers, and engineers to prototype and implement product features.</li><li>Communicate effectively with other engineers, product managers, customers, and partners.</li><li>70% development / 30% working on requirements, mentorship, supervision.</li></ul> What youll bring:<ul><li>7-10+ years of industry experience</li><li>Microsoft .NET technology stack (C# / .NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs) and SQL databases (Microsoft SQL Server or any other).</li><li>HTML5 and JavaScript; experience such front-end frameworks as React is a plus.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Snowflake and/or other cloud data warehouses is preferred</li><li>Familiarity with DBT, MetricFlow, or similar semantic modeling tools is preferred</li><li>Ability to empathize with our users and champion for their experience.</li><li>Ability to use data-driven approach for product decisions. We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation. The expected salary range for this role for candidates residing in Canada is between $137,400 CAD - $206,000 CAD. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
