This person will be a core member of our growing design team and aid in creating a class-leading SaaS product with desktop, tablet and mobile touchpoints.In your role as a Principal Product Designer, you will be responsible for identifying, proposing, and leading various projects. Your primary focus will be centered around driving transformation, using design as a strategic tool to refine product strategy decisions, and ensuring that ServiceTitan delivers consistent and compelling user experiences across its product lineup. Since your work will be project-based, you will frequently operate in uncertain terrain, strategically guiding a teams existing knowledge and talent while diplomatically advancing ideas and project plans. Develop deep expertise across the entire platform</li><li>Take responsibility for specific design-driven projects that you proactively pursue. Additionally, collaborate with the VP of Design to identify areas of work where your guidance and expertise are essential for achieving customer-focused success.</li><li>Work with Product owners and developers to create clear and compelling interfaces which meet the requirements of the user story. Quickly prototype solutions to visual and interaction problems, create and “sell” North Star Projects.</li><li>Understand the users deeply across different segments through research, user insights and lead product design to drive measurable outcomes. Validate product ideas through experimental design and research approaches. Help your teams and the entire company develop empathy for our users and advocate for our users’ needs</li><li>Innovate and establish enduring, replicable patterns and systems that set new benchmarks for interaction within the company.</li><li>Collaborate with the entire design organization to ensure that the quality of craftsmanship and our design methodologies meet the high standards expected by our business and customers.</li><li>Work closely alongside the VP of Design and the Design Leadership Team to execute and shape the continuous development of the Design strategy. This entails working closely with our skilled Product Designers, Lead Designers, Research Leads, and Content Designers to highlight and focus us down on sweating the right details for our customers.</li><li>Recognizing and championing company-wide initiatives that offer substantial value to both our business and our customers.</li></ul>What Youll Bring: <ul><li>Experience designing a modern Saas or enterprise platform or one comparable</li><li>Demonstrated portfolio of shipping amazing customer experiences that have made a significant impact on business and customer metrics.   </li><li>A love for solving complex product problems with simple design solutions</li><li>Exceptional interaction and visual design skills. </li><li>Deep organization and execution capabilities, especially in areas of influence and collaboration with multiple stakeholder groups</li><li>A passion for solving core product problems while balancing all facets of a user experience, such as strategy and research, information architecture, and interaction design</li><li>Experience collaborating with other designers to build a cohesive product</li><li>Excellent communication and storytelling skills; you have the ability to help your team and stakeholders understand the “why” behind your design rationale. We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation.The expected salary range for this role for candidates residing in the United States is between $183,400 USD - $245,400 USD. Compensation for candidates residing outside the United States will vary by location and the specific salary range will be discussed during the hiring process. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
