You and your team will build, maintain, and ensure the scale, performance and reliability of the storage fleet meets and exceeds requirements.What you get to do in this role:<ul><li>Help develop cloud infrastructure storage services, and automation tools that are specified, documented, and testable.</li><li>Collaborate with the build of orchestration workflows by leveraging features of the ServiceNow platform.</li><li>Write test plans and test automation for cloud infrastructure storage.</li><li>Deploy new storage systems and manage a worldwide fleet of storage arrays.</li><li>Manage and resolve challenging break/fix storage cases with and for ServiceNow partners.</li><li>Ensure that all storage capacity, reliability, and performance needs can be met, and on schedule.</li><li>Collaborate with multiple different technical teams, including storage vendor support teams, to resolve issues and create new efficiencies.</li><li>Create and/or refine existing processes and procedures to improve efficiencies within the environment.</li><li>Continually learn new cloud and storage technologies as they are introduced into the environment.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3>To be successful in this role you have:<ul><li>Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AIs potential impact on the function or industry.</li><li>8 years of related experience with a Bachelors degree; or 6 years and a Masters degree; or equivalent experience.</li><li>Good understanding and experience with S3-compatible object storage, block storage using NVMeoF (RoCE, TCP), and network attached storage using NFSv3/v4.</li><li>Broad knowledge of enterprise class storage hardware (e.g. Dell, Pure, HP, NetApp etc.)</li><li>Have a good understanding of deduplication and compression techniques.</li><li>Expertise with the provisioning lifecycle of storage resources: volume, NFS export, S3 bucket.</li><li>Strong experience with Red Hat Linux, CentOS, and comfortable operating at the command line.</li><li>Experience with virtualization solutions, such as VMware ESXi and RedHat OpenStack Platform</li><li>Experience with Flash Storage solutions.</li><li>Working knowledge of networking/server architecture and hardware.</li><li>Experience with a programming language, such as Python and version control systems like Git.</li><li>Experience with Linux shell scripting using Bash.</li><li>Experience with AI coding assistant offerings, e.g. Windsurf, Copilot.</li><li>Knowledge of configuration management systems, e.g. Ansible, Puppet.</li><li>Working knowledge of public cloud providers (GCP, AWS, or Azure)</li><li>Understanding of how to develop dashboards and reports using Grafana and Splunk.</li><li>Good understanding of capacity planning.</li><li>Experience working in a multi-team enterprise service delivery environment</li><li>Team-first mentality; Involve others to accomplish personal and group goals.</li><li>Proven ability to function independently in ambiguous situations with a record of success.</li><li>Process oriented and experienced in process development.</li><li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to multi-task several unrelated issues.</li><li>The ability to write clear and concise documentation with particular emphasis on technical processes and standards.</li><li>Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams on highly-technical, multi-disciplined projects.</li><li>Excellent communication, customer focus, problem solving, conflict management, time management and interpersonal skills required.</li><li>A focus on constant learning and improving technical and personal skillsets.</li><li>Operate with a drive and a passion to figure things out.</li></ul> GCS-23  For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $129,300 - $226,300, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
