We believe that the best way to solve complicated dynamic problems is collaboratively and respectfully.Role OverviewServe is seeking an Operations Manager to manage logistics operations, including managing shipment schedules, booking shipments, managing &amp; analyzing shipment data, and supporting the continuous development of streamlined &amp; automated processes. Successful candidates will be highly organized, detail-oriented, tech savvy, and have a bias for action with the ability to plan ahead and take proactive steps to stay ahead of schedule. This is a great role for tech savvy operators who are interested in learning how to build cutting-edge processes and systems to manage logistics.Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage shipping schedules to ensure they are aligned with organizational needs</li><li>Allocate product based on needs (QA, Dev, advertising, market operations, etc.) and ensure the specifications of the product to be shipped aligns with recipient needs</li><li>Plan and book shipments</li><li>Prepare shipping documentation</li><li>Oversee processes for shipment tracking and alerting</li><li>Manage and monitor ongoing shipments</li><li>Monitor logistics invoicing and payments to ensure alignment with quotes</li><li>Management &amp; analysis of shipment data</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>3+ years of experience in a logistics, data analyst or supply chain role.</li><li>Highly organized and detail oriented.</li><li>Highly skilled in leveraging spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets), cloud file storage solutions (Drive, SharePoint, etc.), and ERP systems to streamline workflows and optimize efficiency.</li><li>Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguous situations.</li></ul>What Makes You Standout<ul><li>Logistics experience including international shipments, and dangerous goods shipments (lithium ion battery) shipments.</li><li>Highly technical with understanding of data management and automation using Python, SQL, REST APIs, etc.</li></ul>
