- Work closely with Product Management to ensure lab content supports strategic goals and new product features.
- Own the lab development lifecycle: from planning and content drafting to quality assurance and go-live coordination.
- Manage multiple lab projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks are met.
- Collaborate with UX, engineering, and field teams to validate lab accuracy, usability, and impact.
- Must be able to troubleshoot technical issues independently and work collaboratively to resolve complex problems across systems and environments.
- Maintain and update existing lab scenarios to reflect evolving technologies and product updates.
What skills and knowledge should you bring?
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent written communication and content development skills
- 3–5+ years of experience in technical content development, instructional design, or technical training (preferably in a software or cloud-based environment).
- Understanding of IP networking protocols and firewalls
- Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware
- Demonstrated experience managing external vendors or third-party development teams.
- Solid project management skills, with experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives and tracking deliverables.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and translate complex architectures and workflows
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), DevOps, or security technologies is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and clarity.
- Familiarity or experience with lab platforms is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with shifting priorities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in or with product management or developer advocacy teams.
- A background in scripting or coding (e.g., Python, Bash, JavaScript) is highly desirable to automate tasks and enhance lab functionality.
- Knowledge of modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containers/Kubernetes, or infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as Vmware workstation or ESXi.
- Knowledge of installation and configuration of core OS technologies like Windows (Desktop and Server), and Linux distros such as Ubuntu.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts or cloud-native security tools is a bonus.
