As a Desktop Support Level II technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our internal customers in a fast paced, demanding environment. The ideal candidate must have experience in support ticketing systems and possess strong technical skills in desktop support in a mixed OS environment</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ol><li>Provide technical support to employees for desktop hardware, software, and network-related issues.</li><li>Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and peripherals</li><li>Maintain inventory of workstation hardware and software.</li><li>Maintain and update desktop operating systems and software</li><li>Manage and resolve support tickets in a timely and efficient manner</li><li>Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve issues and implement solutions</li><li>Assist with the maintenance and administration of the desktop environment</li><li>Provide excellent customer service and communication to end-users</li><li>Provide training to employees on new desktop software and hardware.</li><li>Maintain documentation of desktop hardware, software, and network configurations.</li></ol><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Required Skills:</strong></p><ol><li>2-3 years of experience in desktop support</li><li>Experience with support ticketing systems</li><li>Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>Understanding of Active Directory and Group Policies</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication</li><li>Excellent customer service skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li></ol><p><strong>Desired Skills:</strong></p><ol><li>Experience with RedHat Linux</li><li>Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, DOS, PowerShell, Perl, and Python</li><li>Familiarity with unattended installers and OS system imaging</li><li>CompTIA Certifications including A+, Security+, Linux+</li><li>Experience with Remote Support Tools ( Remote Assistance, Bomgar )</li></ol><p> </p><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>Compensation: Base pay range is $25-32/hour depending on qualifications. SEAKR has very rich medical, dental and vision insurance plans, along with a generous 401(k) retirement plan. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for a year-end bonus.
