If youre ready to drive change and make history, apply now!</div><h4>Overview</h4> As the Senior Software Engineer for Scout Motor’s digital products, you will play a key role in the development and enhancement of our software products, from concept to deployment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement scalable and robust solutions that meet our customers needs and exceed their expectations. Some of the key products as part of digital portfolio are – mobile and desktop applications, vehicle connectivity solutions, mapping services, production, inventory and planning optimization, servicing and repairs, and more. At the same time, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to be hands-on building key systems and will be directly responsible for the successful delivery of complex and large-scale technical efforts as well acting as a technical mentor and leader for other engineers. <h4>What you’ll do</h4> Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck &amp; rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: <ul> <li>Work with engineers &amp; technical leaders across the company to ship interoperable products and systems on strong foundations that manage customer interactions inside and outside of the vehicle</li> <li>Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex software systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance</li> <li>Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and deliverables</li> <li>Implement single sign-on solutions to allow users to authenticate once and access multiple applications securely. Design, implement and support identity, access and profile related services for multiple web applications, mobile apps and vehicle apps supporting internal and customer as users</li> <li>Implement best practices and standards for software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation</li> <li>Mentor and coach junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow and succeed</li> <li>Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously learning and experimenting with new tools and techniques to improve our software development process</li> <li>Be responsible for the services that are owned by your team, ensuring 24/7 on-call coverage</li> </ul> Location &amp; Travel Expectations: <ul> <li>This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Fremont, California. We will consider remote applicants for this role.
