Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.We are seeking a skilled Principal Embedded Software Engineer to join our Radar Digital Product Line team.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating high-performance applications and will be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle. You will work onsite in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. What You Will Do:<ul><li>Develop robust and scalable software in C++ running on Linux or UNIX operating systems using Agile development methods</li><li>Design, implement, test, and maintain radar software applications, while ensuring system integration and scalability.</li><li>Create/update MATLAB scripts for use in verifying software requirements</li><li>Tackle difficult problems and successfully deliver results on schedule</li><li>Participate in design/code/test reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.</li><li>Stay current with industry trends and advancements in C/C++ technologies, especially in relation to complex systems and continuous delivery.</li></ul>Qualifications You Must Have:<ul><li>Typically requires a bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of experience.</li><li>Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
