Support and overlook the creation of complex financial models which support the analysis of transactions in key sectors. Responsible for the development and oversight of complex models including discounted cash flows, leveraged buyouts, mergers, divestitures, joint ventures, public and private capital transactions, ability-to-pay, and other detailed analyses. Detailed knowledge of power, utilities, and infrastructure sectors. Understanding both market and technical modeling nuances of the sector. Detailed understanding of accounting principals. Manage the associates and analysts in the deal team and responsible for their training and development. Lead due diligence and weekly calls with several counter parties. Detailed understanding of tax structuring for various transaction structures. Lead discussions on valuation and corporate finance subject matters.</p><p></p><p>#LI-DNI</p><p></p><p>Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, $292,427.00 per year.</p><p></p><p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</p><p></p><p>Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field and 4 years of related work experience.</p><p></p><p>Must have 4 years of experience in:</p><p></p><p>* Term sheet review, analysis, and drafting; and,</p><p>* Due diligence coordination &amp; facilitation.</p><p>Must have 3 years of experience in:</p><p></p><p>* Engagement letter drafting;</p><p>* Investment memoranda review, analysis, and drafting; and,  </p><p>* Virtual Data Rooms proficiency (Datasite, Intralinks, DFIN, Firmex). </p><p>Must have 2 years of experience in:</p><p></p><p>* Investment banking covering Mergers &amp; Acquisitions (M&amp;A); </p><p>* Financial models (mergers, DCF, LBO, ability-to-pay, weighted average cost of capital, or accretion &amp; dilution analysis);  </p><p>* Financial accounting and tax; </p><p>* M&amp;A project management; and, </p><p>* Bid letter review, analysis, and drafting. </p><p>Must have 1 year of experience in leading a team of Investment Banking Analysts and Associates. </p><p></p><p>Must have or be able to obtain within 90 days, certifications in Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 79, and Series 63.  </p><p></p><p>Domestic travel required up to 10%. International travel required up to 5%.</p><p>The base salary for this job is $292,427 per year.  This salary does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and
