You’ll oversee creative teams, guide conceptual development, and ensure the delivery of high-quality work that aligns with client objectives. This is a leadership role that requires strategic vision, strong collaboration, and the ability to inspire teams to produce innovative and effective work.  KEY COMPETENCIES: <ul> <li>Creative Vision: Translate client objectives into bold, strategic, and innovative creative concepts.</li> <li>Leadership: Motivate and guide multidisciplinary creative teams, fostering collaboration and growth.</li> <li>Strategic Thinking: Align creative strategies with business goals and target audiences.</li> <li>Craft &amp; Execution: Ensure all creative output meets the highest standards of quality and brand consistency.</li> <li>Storytelling: Develop compelling narratives and ideas that resonate emotionally with audiences.</li> <li>Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients, presenting and advocating for creative solutions.</li> <li>Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, responding to feedback and evolving project needs.</li> </ul> YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: <ul> <li>Lead the development of integrated campaigns across various platforms, including digital, social, print, experiential, and more.</li> <li>Oversee and mentor creative teams, including art directors, copywriters, designers, and developers, ensuring their growth and success.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with strategy, account, and production teams to ensure creative work aligns with strategic objectives.</li> <li>Present creative concepts to clients, articulating the vision and rationale behind the work.</li> <li>Drive innovation and push boundaries, exploring new approaches, tools, and technologies to elevate creative output.</li> <li>Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality work.</li> <li>Maintain a deep understanding of client brands, audiences, and industries to create relevant and impactful campaigns.</li> </ul> SUCCESS CRITERIA <ul> <li>Delivery of bold, innovative creative work that exceeds client expectations and resonates with audiences.</li> <li>Demonstrated leadership in fostering a collaborative and inspiring team environment.</li> <li>Strong client relationships, with confidence in your ability to deliver strategic and creative solutions.</li> <li>Effective management of multiple projects, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.</li> <li>Proactive exploration of creative trends and technologies to keep RAPP’s work at the forefront of the industry. </li> </ul>  SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE <ul> <li>Experience: 8+ years in creative roles (e.g., art direction, copywriting, design), with at least 3 years in a creative leadership position.</li> <li>Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing innovative, high-quality creative work across multiple platforms.</li> <li>Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor creative teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.</li> <li>Strategic Expertise: Strong understanding of brand strategy, audience insights, and campaign objectives.</li> <li>Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas effectively.</li> <li>Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with design tools, platforms, and emerging technologies.</li> </ul> <hr /> Our Hybrid Work Model: RAPPs current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections and collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees. A reasonable estimate of the salary for this role, at the time of posting, is $140,000 - $165,000. This range is specific to Detroit and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
