We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our End-User Compute team at NVIDIA. Your work will create a new developer paradigm: enabling dynamic access to desktop compute and applications on demand that can be accessed from anywhere. This role specializes in building server and application products designed to make developers more productive. You’ll apply your expertise in software engineering, infrastructure, and DevOps to build a world-class cloud desktop platform.What youll be doing:<ul><li>Work with a team developing NVIDIA’s cloud desktop platform.</li><li>Collaborate with infrastructure and networking teams to optimize performance.</li><li>Assist in shaping the cloud desktop strategy by contributing to architecture and design decisions.</li><li>Ensure high-quality code delivery and follow standard methodologies in software engineering.</li><li>Optimize service performance to deliver the best possible experience.</li><li>Participate in design reviews and discussions to enhance system functionality.</li><li>Support continuous improvement by staying up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.</li></ul>What we need to see:<ul><li>BSEE, BSCS or equivalent experience.</li><li>12+ years of software engineering / infrastructure / DevOps experience.</li><li>Experience working in End-user computing technologies, display protocols, VDI.</li><li>Experience with Golang, AWS (EC2, VPC), Docker, Terraform, Packer, PowerShell, Bash, Kubernetes.</li><li>Understanding of corporate engineering challenges and how they differ from consumer-facing engineering.</li><li>Proven experience in delivering software products and driving them to completion.</li><li>Exposure to customer-facing roles and the ability to understand their needs.</li><li>Strong fundamentals of cloud infrastructure that can apply across multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).</li></ul>Ways to stand out from the crowd:<ul><li>Windows management experience and/or Linux management experience using Chef, Salt, Puppet, or Ansible.</li><li>Background in high-performance computing (GPU knowledge).</li><li>Passion for shipping software products and delivering impactful solutions.</li></ul>Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
