As a Senior Client Platform Engineer, you will work in NVIDIA IT to lead initiatives focused on the client platform with an emphasis on our macOS fleet. You will apply knowledge of software engineering and DevOps to craft a world-class service for all NVIDIA. Were looking for somebody who thrives on innovation and coming up with new ways of doing things to transform the user experience.What you’ll be doing:<ul><li>Automate and manage macOS device configuration and software deployment using Configuration as Code best practices.</li><li>Implement, test, and maintain GitOps workflows to ensure repeatable, auditable, and version-controlled changes across the client platform.</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot, document, and improve platform reliability and user experience for macOS endpoints.</li><li>Use good software engineering practices that translate to measuring developer productivity.</li><li>Support advanced issues on tickets that arise in your field.</li><li>Recommend changes to policies and establish procedures that affect immediate organization.</li></ul>What we need to see:<ul><li>BS/MS or equivalent experience in Engineering or Computer Science</li><li>8+ years of experience in Client Platform Engineering</li><li>Proficient with scripting languages (such as Bash, Python) and macOS management tools (Fleet, MDM, JAMF, or similar).</li><li>Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code or GitOps methodologies using platforms such as FleetDM, Chef, Munki, Chocolatey, e.g.</li><li>Strong knowledge of macOS internals, endpoint automation, and enterprise support in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul><h2>Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd</h2><ul><li>Sincere dedication to the end-user experience.</li><li>Product development and product management experience.</li><li>Strong software optimization and debugging knowledge.</li><li>Windows and Linux CPE experience is a plus.</li></ul>NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
