About the Role As we continue to expand our healthcare offerings, we’re seeking a Staff Software Engineer to drive scalable architecture and technical leadership across Noom Med. This role will actively contribute as an IC on one or more Med teams, helping improve the architecture of our integrations while setting a long-term vision for a compliant, performant, and innovative platform. You Will <ul> <li>Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and HIPAA-compliant backend systems to support healthcare integrations.</li> <li>Set architectural vision for Noom Med, ensuring alignment with broader engineering standards and long-term product scalability.</li> <li>Partner with cross-functional stakeholders—Engineering, Product, Operations, and external vendors—to drive initiatives forward.</li> <li>Own and evolve critical integrations with healthcare partners, surfacing and prioritizing opportunities for future improvement.</li> <li>Leverage experience with AI or strong interest in AI-driven development tools to enhance the team’s velocity and innovation.</li> <li>Actively contribute to codebases (50%), drive architectural planning (25%), and provide technical leadership and mentorship (25%).</li> </ul> About You If you’re interested in shaping the future of health by designing systems that enable scalable and compliant medical services, this role may be for you! The actual salary offer is based on factors including relevant experience and training, assessment of functional skills and behavioral competencies, and location, among others. </li> </ul> <li>Other elements of Noom’s Compensation Package</li> <ul> <li>Noom offers a comprehensive and generous total rewards package.
