In this role, you will play a key part in designing and implementing innovative features and modules, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and shaping the future of our products. Responsibilities <ul> <li>Design and develop high-quality workflows, features, and modules within the CX suite.</li> <li>Solve complex engineering and product challenges with scalable, customer-centric solutions.</li> <li>Collaborate with design teams to iterate on and improve user experience.</li> <li>Partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize and align product and engineering goals.</li> <li>Mentor and collaborate with engineering peers and product managers.</li> <li>Design, implement, and deliver stand-alone and RESTful API solutions.</li> <li>Take full ownership of modules from design through deployment.</li> </ul> Requirements Basic Qualifications <ul> <li>10+ years of software development experience, with a strong focus on Java and Spring Boot.</li> <li>2+ years in a leadership or engineering management role.</li> <li>Proven expertise in system design and building scalable, robust software systems.</li> <li>Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).</li> <li>Experience with Apache Kafka or similar messaging systems.</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on troubleshooting capabilities.</li> <li>Solid understanding of server-side architectures.</li> <li>Comfortable working in Unix/Linux environments.</li> </ul> Preferred Skills: <ul> <li>Experience in web application design, coding, and implementation.</li> <li>Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).</li> <li>Comfortable working across the stack and building prototypes or MVPs.</li> <li>Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.</li> <li>Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.</li> <li>Exposure to Agile development methodologies.</li> <li>Quick learner and effective debugger.</li> </ul> Additional Qualities: <ul> <li>Strong sense of project ownership and accountability.</li> <li>Self-motivated, proactive, and dedicated to delivering high-quality results.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.</li> <li>High attention to detail and commitment to excellence.</li> <li>Strong team player with the ability to contribute individually when needed.</li> </ul>   Nextiva DNA (Core Competencies) Nextiva’s most successful team members share common traits and behaviors: <ul> <li>Drives Results: Action-oriented with a passion for solving problems.
