We are seeking an Experienced Senior Architect to join our team as a Lead Software Engineer (Vice President), specializing in Kubernetes administration and DevOps CI/CD automation. We foster a collaborative, inclusive workplace culture that encourages our people to bring their best selves to work, championing diversity and teamwork in everything we do.  What youll do in the role:<ul><li>Architect, administer, and optimize Kubernetes clusters for scalability, reliability, and security across multiple environments.</li><li>Implement and manage container orchestration solutions, ensuring seamless integration with cloud and on-prem infrastructure.</li><li>Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to cluster health, deployments, and automation processes.</li><li>Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions using tools like Terraform, Helm, and Ansible.</li><li>Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as TeamCIty, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.</li><li>Collaborate with development teams to automate deployment processes and streamline software delivery.</li><li>Drive best practices for DevOps, including automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.</li><li>Maintain and enhance monitoring, logging, and dashboarding for Kubernetes and CI/CD environments.</li><li>Apply basic Linux administration and shell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.</li><li>Use version control systems (SVN, GIT, BitBucket) for managing configuration and code changes.</li><li>Java knowledge with 3-tier application development and framework integration would be a bonus.</li></ul>What youll bring to the role:<ul><li>6-8 years of experience in technology roles, with expertise in Kubernetes administration and DevOps automation.</li><li>Proven experience architecting and administering Kubernetes clusters in production environments.</li><li>Hands-on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines with modern DevOps tools.</li><li>Strong scripting skills (Bash, Ksh, Perl, Python) for automation and operational efficiency.</li><li>Deep OS knowledge, especially Linux (CentOS, RedHat).</li><li>Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code concepts and tools (Terraform, Helm, Ansible).</li><li>Proficiency with version control systems: SVN, GIT, BitBucket.</li><li>Experience with monitoring, logging, and dashboarding tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).</li><li>Java knowledge for solution development and integration (bonus).</li><li>Designing and Developing API proxies using Apigee Edge.</li><li>Strong understanding of API management life cycle components likecreating environments, virtual hosts, api proxies, cache, products and publishing it to the portal.</li></ul>Desired Skills: <ul><li>Experience with on-prem cloud and public cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, etc.) for Kubernetes deployments.</li><li>Advanced Linux administration experience.</li><li>Exposure to security best practices in containerized and cloud environments.</li><li>Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).</li><li>Apigee platform  engineering and DevOps knowledge.</li><li>Excellent collaborative skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.</li><li>Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.</li></ul>Morgan Stanley is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
