We value teamwork, accuracy, and continuous improvement, and we’re excited to welcome someone who shares our passion for delivering an excellent payroll experience to all Mironeers.</div> <h4><strong>About the Role</strong></h4> <p><span>We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist with strong knowledge, or a solid base understanding, of US payroll to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and validating payroll in ADP Workforce Now, ensuring the accurate and timely disbursement of employee payments. You will collaborate closely with the People Ops team to apply payroll instructions and adjustments, while maintaining precise records and data integrity. This role will also support the broader Payroll team on international operations, helping ensure payroll deductions, filings, and reporting remain compliant with local requirements.</span></p> <h4><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Coordinate and process bi-monthly payroll for US employees in ADP Workforce Now, ensuring accuracy and timeliness</li> <li>Collaborate closely with the People Ops team to capture payroll changes such as new hires, transfers, promotions, pay rate changes, and commissions</li> <li>Maintain payroll processing systems and records by gathering, validating, and inputting data with accuracy</li> <li>Ensure compliance with US statutory requirements for payroll calculations, deductions, filings, and reporting</li> <li>Provide reports to internal stakeholders (e.g., Accounting, Finance) and support audits as needed</li> <li>Maintain internal payroll documentation, ensuring processes are updated and clearly detailed</li> <li>Address employee inquiries in a clear, timely, and employee-centric manner, escalating as needed</li> <li>Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to payroll system enhancements</li> <li>Support the broader global payroll team, providing coverage and assistance on international payrolls where needed, especially during the ADP Celergo implementation</li> </ul> <h4><strong>What you’ll need</strong></h4> <ul> <li>2–3 years of relevant experience in Payroll or a comparable role</li> <li>Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now is highly preferred</li> <li>Strong knowledge or base understanding of US payroll regulations and compliance requirements</li> <li>Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, formulas, data validation, etc.)</li> <li>High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach to payroll</li> <li>Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a global team</li> <li>Proactive, curious, and eager to learn, with a drive to understand processes and identify improvements</li> <li>Experience supporting payroll in an international environment is a plus</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Whats in it for you</strong></h4> <ul> <li>401k matching + Competitive equity package</li> <li>Excellent Medical, Dental and Vision health benefits</li> <li>Fertility &amp; Family Forming Benefits</li> <li>Flexible time off</li> <li>Lunch, snacks and drinks provided in the office</li> <li>Wellbeing benefit and WFH equipment allowance</li> <li>Annual learning and development allowance to grow your skills and career</li> <li>Up to $2,000 of charitable donation matches each year</li> </ul><div><h4><strong>About Miro</strong></h4> <p>Miro is a visual workspace for innovation that enables distributed teams of any size to build the next big thing.
