If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.<h3>Responsibilities</h3>Security Integration in SDLC<ul><li>Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).</li><li>Implement and manage security automation tools such as SAST, DAST, SCA, and OSS.</li></ul>DevSecOps Implementation<ul><li>Lead the adoption and implementation of DevSecOps practices across the organization, ensuring security is embedded in the CI/CD pipeline.</li><li>Automate security testing, monitoring, and reporting processes using industry-standard tools and frameworks.</li><li>Partner with DevOps teams to ensure application security scanning and remediation requirements are met.</li></ul>Vulnerability Management<ul><li>Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on applications and infrastructure.</li><li>Monitor and analyze security incidents and vulnerabilities reported by various sources, including threat intelligence feeds.</li><li>Collaborate with development and operations teams to prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities promptly.</li></ul>Compliance and Reporting<ul><li>Ensure all development activities comply with organizational security policies, standards, and relevant cybersecurity frameworks and regulations.</li><li>Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.</li><li>Prepare detailed reports on security findings, incidents, and remediation efforts for stakeholders and leadership, actively contributing to resolutions that improve the security posture.</li></ul>Security Awareness and Training<ul><li>Author training materials and provide guidance to development, operations, and QA teams on secure coding practices, DevSecOps, and security standards.</li><li>Stay current with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and compliance requirements.</li></ul><h3>Minimum Requirements</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Typically requires 7+ years of experience in application security analysis, secure software development, or a related field.</li></ul><h3>Technical Skills</h3><ul><li>Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, JavaScript, etc.</li><li>3+ years of hands-on experience with DevSecOps practices and security tooling.</li><li>Experience implementing security tools at scale such as OWASP ZAP, Veracode, SonarQube, GitHub Advanced Security.</li><li>Experience with supply chain security tooling such as JFrog Xray/Curation, Blackduck, Sonatype, FOSSA.</li><li>Expertise in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.</li><li>Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).</li></ul><h3>Soft Skills</h3><ul><li>Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about security challenges.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.</li></ul><h3>Additional Knowledge &amp; Skills</h3><ul><li>Knowledge of healthcare, privacy, and financial compliance regulations.</li><li>Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with an understanding of IT business operations and information security.</li><li>Previous penetration testing experience.</li></ul>We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKessons pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
