<p>Leidos is seeking (Remote) Senior Software Testing Automation Engineers to support the Voice Development team. As a Software Testing Engineer you will be responsible for <span>creation and execution of system, functional and non-functional tests. You will collaborate with R&amp;D, System Engineering and Support teams to find the best technical solution that suits the business needs.</span></p><p></p><div><div><div><div><div><p><u>These are <b>contingent</b> positions, pending award.</u></p><p></p></div></div></div></div></div><p><b>Primarily Responsibilities: </b></p><ul><li>Take responsibility over the quality of the product</li><li>Take ownership of day-to-day quality issues and escalation</li><li>Develop and maintain an array of relevant user scenarios, test-cases, and checklists</li><li>Manually execute functional and non-functional tests</li><li><span>Implement automated test cases wherever this is suitable / efficient</span></li><li>Drive best practices for test automation, test execution and test management</li><li><span>Report and track defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues</span></li><li>Design, deploy and maintain the internal infrastructure needed for testing</li><li><span>Continuously improve test automation processes and frameworks</span></li><li><span>Create and maintain test documentation and reports</span></li><li>Analyze real-world customers issues, identify their root cause and offer the best solution</li></ul><div><p></p><p><b>Typical Education and Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science or similar field and at least 5 years experience testing solutions and software products, including <span>installing and configuring LINUX operating systems and applications, scripting and collecting system / application logs</span></li><li>Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, tool and processes</li><li>Experience with test automation frameworks, including Behavior Driven Development</li><li><span>Selenium WebDriver knowledge</span></li><li><span>Strong experience in using programming / scripting languages – Python and Bash scripting and Python for Object oriented programming</span></li><li>Knowledge of version control systems (eg Git, SVN)</li><li>Experience in the <span>use and administration of virtualization</span> platforms (i.e. VMware, OpenStack, Proxmox)</li><li>Experience in the use and administration of CI/CD tools (i.e. <span>TeamCity</span>, Jenkins, Gitlab)</li><li><span>Telecommunication knowledge and a good understanding of VoIP related protocols</span></li><li><span>IDE – squish / gammaray or other similar tools  for qt/qml GUI testing</span></li><li><span>Solid understanding of SQL queries and database concepts</span></li><li>Management of tests and issues in Jira, TestLink or Redmine</li></ul><p></p><p>Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
