Youre naturally curious, love diving deep into complex problems, and are comfortable working across the full AI system stack - from model integration to user experience design.</p> <h3>Required Skills</h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Computing, and at least 2-3 years of<strong> </strong>practical experience in related field with focus on AI/ML </li> <li>Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in a product-focused company</li> <li>Knowledge in common Software Engineering practice</li> <li>Experience with large language models (LLMs) and natural language processing</li> <li>Excellent  written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Experience building production systems</li> </ul> <h3>Additional Skills</h3> <ul> <li>Experience working on a <strong>TypeScript or JavaScript </strong>backend (for product integration work)</li> <li>Familiarity with React, Next.js, and GraphQL</li> <li>Experience with AI systems in regulated industries</li> <li>Understanding of medical device software development processes</li> </ul> <h3>Our Tech Stack</h3> <ul> <li>Software platform built on Next.js / React. The backend and frontend, including the AI parts, are maintained in TypeScript</li> <li>PostgreSQL database</li> <li>AWS (EC2, ELB, S3, CloudWatch, etc.) for deployment</li> <li>GitHub, Jira, Confluence for collaboration</li> </ul> <h3>Am I a Good Fit?</h3> <ul> <li>How would you manage state when using an LLM to power a conversation?</li> <li>How would you design an AI-powered document analysis system from scratch?</li> <li>What does the await keyword do in TypeScript, and how does it relate to Promises?</li> <li>How did you integrate AI powered features into a user-facing SaaS / software system?</li> </ul> <p>If you feel confident talking about these kinds of questions, let’s talk!</p> <h3>Your Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Enhance and expand the capabilities of our AI-powered solution across our platform</li> <li>Develop and optimize advanced natural language processing techniques for requirement analysis and traceability, with emphasis on identifying dependencies and potential gaps</li> <li>Implement methodologies for AI-assisted software verification and validation processes, focusing on regulated environment requirements</li> <li>Design and develop AI-powered document processing and generation systems with continuous validation capabilities</li> <li>Build and maintain testing frameworks to evaluate AI components through empirical studies, measuring efficiency gains, accuracy improvements, and user satisfaction metrics</li> <li>Establish and implement monitoring systems for continuous validation of AI features in regulated environments</li> <li>Lead cross-functional collaboration with the product team to design measurable, impactful AI solutions that address specific user challenges</li> <li>Ensure AI systems maintain compliance with medical software requirements through systematic testing and validation protocol</li> <li>Design and implement rigorous evaluation frameworks to assess the accuracy, reliability, and efficacy of AI systems, including empirical studies measuring efficiency gains, accuracy improvements, and user satisfaction.</li> <li>Establish methodologies for continuous validation of AI systems in regulated environments, ensuring compliance and optimal performance.</li> </ul> <h3>Compensation</h3> <p>For Austrian employees, we are offering an attractive compensation package.
