You will work cross-functionally with product, operations, marketing, and finance teams to identify opportunities, influence strategy, and ensure our business decisions are grounded in data. </span></div><div><br /></div><div><span>This is a high-visibility role where you will be both an independent contributor and a strategic thought partner to senior leadership.</span></div><div><br /></div><div><span>While we are open to remote employees, individuals living near Philadelphia, Miami, NYC, Boston, Seattle, Austin, or the Bay Area may receive preferential treatment.</span></div><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead deep-dive analyses on customer behavior, assortment, pricing, promotions, and operations to drive growth and profitability</li><li>Act as a strategic analytics partner to executives and senior leaders across the business, translating complex data into actionable insights</li><li>Develop and maintain advanced BI reporting, dashboards, and analytical frameworks to support decision-making at scale</li><li>Apply expertise in SQL and data modeling to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from Snowflake and other data sources</li><li>Collaborate with Analytics Engineering and Data Platform teams to ensure data availability, reliability, and scalability for strategic use cases</li><li>Mentor analysts and stakeholders in data best practices, elevating the overall analytical maturity of the organization</li><li>Communicate findings clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or related quantitative field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)</li><li>7+ years of professional experience in strategy, business intelligence, data analytics, or related fields (retail/e-commerce experience strongly preferred)</li><li>Expert in SQL (Snowflake &amp; dbt experience preferred) with proven ability to build and analyze complex datasets</li><li>Hands-on experience with modern BI and visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI)</li><li>Proficiency in at least one programming language for analytics (e.g., Python, R) preferred</li><li>Strong business acumen with demonstrated experience influencing strategy and driving measurable outcomes</li><li>Exceptional communication and storytelling skills with the ability to present to executives</li><li>Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced environment, with a track record of tackling ambiguous problems and delivering results</li></ul><h3>Compensation</h3><ul><li>Gopuff pays employees based on market pricing and pay may vary depending on your location. The salary range below reflects what we’d reasonably expect to pay candidates. A candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, interview performance, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
