We engineer and operate low latency trading environments globally.  We leverage modern infrastructure, automation, and observability to optimize performance and manage risk on behalf of our clients. The teams areas of responsibility encompass server hardware, Linux, networking, configuration management, and packet capture analytics. The team directly interfaces with senior business stakeholders and external clients of the firm.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong><u>Your Role</u></strong></p> <ul>  <li>Build high-performance, large scale distributed trading networks leveraging automation.</li>  <li>Engage with highly motivated clients to help drive commercial outcomes and solve complex problems.</li>  <li>Operate in a dynamic working environment with fluid priorities, requires the ability to context switch and adapt to time sensitive issues.</li>  <li>Expand beyond your domain. We have broad engineering remits, affording opportunities to explore innovative hardware and software offerings.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong><u>Basic Qualifications</u></strong></p> <ul>  <li>Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.</li>  <li>CCNA or greater accredited with strong expertise in end-to-end infrastructure delivery, including BGP, multicast routing, switching.</li>  <li>Strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills.</li>  <li>Securities/trading domain exposure a plus.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong><u>Preferred Qualifications</u></strong></p> <ul>  <li>3+ years supporting mission-critical, latency-sensitive production environments.</li>  <li>Colocation connectivity, cross-connect provisioning, carrier diversity, and exchange/venue connectivity models.</li>  <li>Experience with production change management practices and knowledge of SDLC.</li>  <li>Scripting (bash/python) and configuration management (Ansible, Salt) experience building tooling and drive automation with an IAC mindset.</li>  <li>Experience with open source monitoring and metrics collections (Nagios, TICK, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).</li>  <li>Comfortable operating in Linux based environments.</li>  <li>Production operations: incident response, triaging and troubleshooting.</li>  <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred as the team interfaces directly with senior stakeholders, external clients, and internal technology stakeholders.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Salary Range</strong></p> <p>The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $115k - $180k.
