Responsibilities <ul> <li>Ensure a consistent visual style across all platforms that aligns with Forbes’ Brand Guidelines.</li> <li>AI Prompt Engineering: <ul> <li>Craft detailed and eﬀective prompts for AI image generation tools (e.g., Google Gemini AI, Getty AI and Adobe Fireﬂy) to produce desired visual outputs.</li> <li>Iterate and reﬁne prompts based on generated results, optimizing for accuracy and creativity.</li> <li>Explore and experiment with emerging AI design tools and techniques.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Lead larger list packages with the ability to delegate tasks as needed.</li> <li>Collaborate with the editorial, photo, video, social, product and tech teams to determine the best approach to storytelling across all Forbes’ digital platforms.</li> <li>In our fast paced news environment, designers will be assigned 3-4 stories a week or focus on larger list packages and are expected to own all aspects of creative production. Knowledge of Adobe After Eﬀects is preferred.</li> <li>Comfortable using generative AI tools like Google Gemini AI, GettyAI and Adobe Fireﬂy with the ability to expand your knowledge as new tools enter the market.</li> <li>You enjoy staying current on design trends and industry technology, sharing ﬁndings with the department to facilitate new ways of thinking, working and problem solving.</li> <li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, breaking news environment under tight deadlines.</li> <li>Strong communication skills.</li> <li>A portfolio that demonstrates an eye for storytelling, excellent taste, a passion for design and a keen sense of what will perform well on diﬀerent digital platforms.</li> </ul> Applications without an online portfolio will not be considered. The annual base salary range for this role is $80,000 - $85,000 Forbes has estimated the compensation range set forth above in good faith.  The compensation range is what we believe we will offer, and ultimately pay, a successful candidate.  In determining this range, we consider the experience, level of education (if applicable to the role), knowledge, skills, and abilities required to be had by a successful candidate as well as the budget and the company’s pay rates, generally.
