As the innovation engine for Fidelity Investments, we provide expertise to the rest of the firm on new tools and techniques, while also incubating potential new lines of business.</p><p></p><p>The role is based in Boston, MA.</p><p></p><p>The <b>Expertise</b> We’re Looking For</p><ul><li>Bachelor level degree in Computer Science, Engineering or another technical field</li><li>Hands-on technical leader with track record of defining technical architecture and delivering solutions</li><li>Significant experience leading and managing small teams</li><li>Experience working with a variety of programming languages, frameworks, operating systems, and platforms</li><li>Full-Stack development experience (front-end, middle-tier &amp; database)</li><li>At least 6 years of Java programming experience</li><li>Experience with Spring Boot and event-driven architecture is very desirable</li><li>Experience developing native cloud applications using microservices</li><li>Solid understanding of Kubernetes</li><li>Solid understanding of databases</li><li>Experience with Agile Methodologies</li><li>NoSQL experience desirable</li><li>Able to take a concept and turn it into a finished product</li><li>Ability to quickly learn and adopt diverse technologies</li><li>Ability to think strategically: creative thinker.
