Our team is at the center of representing and solving impactful problems for our customers, designing experiences for the thousands of independent retailers and maker brands growing their businesses in our marketplace. In this role, you’ll help shape Faire’s product, working with team members across research, engineering, product, data, and analytics. As a Staff Product Designer, youll strive to understand our customers’ challenges, and craft vision, strategy, and experiences that evolve our marketplace forward, while driving towards our key business goals. What you’ll do <ul> <li>Collaborate with partners across product, engineering, and data to define, build, and release new products and features. </li> <li>Construct user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts for validation.</li> <li>Develop and deliver well-documented, high-fidelity visuals that accurately represent Faire’s brand and design system standards.</li> <li>Write UX content that helps customers accomplish their goals on Faire</li> <li>Design user-centric, engaging content to increase usability, inform, and help customer’s accomplish their goals on Faire</li> <li>Participate in and/or lead user interviews and research to better understand customer needs.</li> <li>Drive strategic thinking into product features and roadmap.</li> <li>Mentor and guide team members, helping them develop and grow.</li> <li>Contribute to and positively shape the design team’s culture through collaboration, feedback, and process iteration.</li> </ul> Qualifications <ul> <li>8+ years of experience designing digital products and systems. Your previous work demonstrates an attention to detail and high quality visual, UX, systems design, and content design. </li> <li>Passion for the details. You have experience delivering high quality experiences, and doing what it takes to get the details right.</li> <li>Great communication skills. You present design decisions and processes clearly and confidently, regardless of audience.</li> <li>A collaborative approach. Salary Range San Francisco, CA and New York, NY: the pay range for this role is $212,500 - $292,000 per year.  This role will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future. <div>Hybrid Faire employees currently go into the office 2 days per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Effective starting in January 2026, employees will be expected to go into the office on a third flex day of their choosing (Monday, Wednesday, or Friday). Additionally, hybrid in-office roles will have the flexibility to work remotely up to 4 weeks per year.
