BNEW SAN Lab Operations is a unit in Business Area Networks. The purpose of Lab Operations is to provide world class lab infrastructure, networks and HW Services to the R&amp;D organizations. Through our solutions and services, we enable our stakeholders to configure and deploy their design and test environment. Lab Operations provide global service deliveries from Operations sites in Sweden - Kista, Rosersberg, Linköping – and many regional labs globally. Hardware Management (HWM) provides HW Asset Management services to the R&amp;D organizations. Our Strategy is to empower R&amp;D to be data driven and decisions and processes. We use OKR strategy execution method. Hardware Management have a holistic approach to managing the complete life of our hardware assets that is useful for Ericsson to maximize the return on investment. As our IT Operations Manager, you will be part Ericsson´s technology leadership by providing world class observability services to the R&amp;D organizations and internal Lab Operations. You will lead a global team and work closely with all our Labs and R&amp;D stakeholders, along with other functions within Ericsson pertaining to this role. We are looking for an IT Operations &amp; Reliability Manager to take responsibility for the stability, availability, and continuous improvement of our global observability and monitoring platforms: COS (Central Observability System) and Checkmk.Location: Hungary, Budapest What you will do • Drive Ericsson’s R&amp;D journey by ensuring that servers, databases, and network components are best in class, meaning secured, configured, maintained, and up to date. • Manage access and permissions for global R&amp;D users. • Oversee and ensure adherence to CI/CD processes for deployments and upgrades, and support our change management activities. • Proactively monitor system health and drive reliability improvements together with the operation support team. • Follow up on SLA compliance and analyze support case statistics. • Act as a bridge between development, infrastructure, and global R&amp;D users to align on needs and improvements. • Safeguard business continuity and ensure platform availability • Drive IT Security and compliance activities, including regular risk assessment, vulnerability scans etc. Who you are • You have proven experience in IT operations, system administration, or site reliability engineering. • Hands-on knowledge of datacenters, R&amp;D environments, servers, databases, and networking. • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automation. • Familiarity with observability/monitoring tools (e.g., Checkmk, Grafana, ELK) is a strong plus. • Comfortable managing SLA follow-up, access processes, and service reporting. • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across a global organization. • A proactive problem-solver who balances technical expertise with structured service delivery. • It’s a merit if you have Ericsson knowledge from previous experiences. Why join us? • You will play a key role in Ericsson’s global R&amp;D ecosystem, ensuring the reliability of platforms that thousands depend on daily. • You’ll get a chance to work with cutting-edge observability and monitoring solutions in a mission-critical environment. • You’re looking for a role that combines hands-on technical impact with strategic service management responsibilities. • Opportunities for continuous learning, innovation, and global collaboration.</div></div></div>​What happens once you apply?<a href="http://www.ericsson.com/en/careers/hiring-process">Click Here</a> to find all you need to know about what our typical hiring process looks like.We encourage you to consider applying to jobs where you might not meet all the criteria.
