<p><span>Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Operational Excellence Manager. This position is ONSITE Monday -Friday 8:00am-5:00pm at our Fayetteville NC Eaton location.  Relocation assistance will be provided, if needed.  </span></p><p> </p><p>As a member of the plant leadership team, this position will help in the creation of business strategies and operational execution for the design and assembly of Power Distribution Control Assembly and Industrial Control Divisions products within the Eaton Electrical Sector.  This position drives the creation and implementation of strategies to improve productivity, reduce costs, improve quality and meet or exceed financial goals.  This includes multiple product lines across two divisions manufactured in Fayetteville, as well as smaller remote sites. Champions the implementation of Continuous Improvement and Lean throughout all functions of the business.  Lead the manufacturing engineering functions and activities for the facility.  <br /> <br />Develop ELS strategy, define actions, and coordinate cross−functional activities to implement an Eaton Best Practice Lean System to Continuously look for and identify Business Improvement Initiatives that support Eaton’s Corporate Vision and Goals.</p><p> </p><p><span>The expected annual salary range for this role is $123750.0 - $181500.0 a year. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. </span></p><div><div><div><h2>What you’ll do:</h2></div><div><p><span><strong>In this role:</strong></span><br /><span>A.    Help to create the future state as it relates to shortened value streams, manufacturing strategies, cross-functional processes, and the establishment of uniform policies and procedures</span><br /><span>B.    Provide Off site and On Site Training sessions.</span><br /><span>C.    Insure the necessary audits of the plants’ operations to evaluate opportunities for implementation of various ELS improvement initiatives </span><br /><span>D.    Benchmark other plants and companies for best in class processes and suggest implementation opportunities, and implement the best practices if applicable. </span><br /><span>E.    Establish and maintain Manufacturing Engineering Strategies and Continuous Improvement plans to support the daily production requirements of the plant and to ensure cost out and standardization of processes.</span><br /><span>F.    Establish and execute Lean/Six Sigma/CIF for the Plant to meet key operational metrics, including growth, cost out and cultural change plans. Aligns improvement strategies to business profit plan for delivery, cost, and quality improvement impact.</span><br /><span>G.    Partner with operations and facilities on site capital planning strategies to plant performance.</span><br /><span>H.    Interface with corporate functional and business leaders as well as counterparts at other Eaton divisions and groups. Participation in division and corporate ELS and other corporate groups/councils</span><br /><span>I.    Travel as necessary to remote sites including Chicago, Houston and El Paso to provide training and facilitate operational excellence at the sites.  May also travel to additional locations to participate in company related projects, activities, or other job related assignments.  </span><br /><span>J.    Lead change to improve organizational effectiveness. Drives the change management necessary to implement effective program and a continuous improvement focused culture.</span><br /><span>K.    Manage third party venders in the facility and equipment maintenance and drive improvements in equipment usage.</span><br /><span>L.    Drive plant strategy planning, standard work and process improvement.</span><br /><span>M.    As member of the leadership team provide all employee presentations, drive engagement and support Eaton values and philosophy.</span></p></div></div><div><div><h2>Qualifications:</h2></div><div><p><span><strong>Basic REQUIRED Qualifications: </strong></span></p><ul><li><span>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required. </span></li><li><span>Minimum Five (5) years of experience in manufacturing and/or engineering management.</span></li><li><span>Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience. </span></li><li><span>Must be able to relocate to Fayetteville, NC.
