It’s ideal for a creative and data-driven marketing professional with expertise in event management, operational rigor, and cross-functional collaboration, who thrives on shaping programs that connect customers and drive growth.</span></p> <h2><span>Responsibilities</span></h2> <ul> <li><span>Develop and execute a comprehensive field </span><span>event marketing</span><span> strategy for North America that aligns with company objectives and supports acquisition, expansion, </span><span>and</span><span> retention</span><span> goals across event types: Dropbox-led regional events, third-party, ancillary activations, and customer-focused events.</span></li> <li><span>Ensure a strong customer-first orientation in event </span><span>production</span><span>, highlighting Dropbox’s value and building consistent, meaningful connections with audiences across segments.</span></li> <li><span>Create and manage an event calendar that strategically positions Dropbox at industry conferences, trade shows, and ancillary activations throughout the year.</span></li> <li><span>Partner with the Brand &amp; Communications team to ensure event storytelling, creative assets, and experiences reinforce Dropbox’s positioning and messaging across all touch points.</span></li> <li><span>Drive cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Integrated Marketing, Product Marketing, and Communications to ensure events are cohesive, compelling, and anchored in business objectives.</span></li> <li><span>Bring operational rigor to planning and execution: managing vendor relationships, venue selection, contract negotiations, budget allocation, and program governance.</span></li> <li><span>Establish strong interlock with Integrated Marketing to ensure consistency in market positioning, messaging, and execution across all events.</span></li> <li><span>Design and implement pre-event, onsite, and post-event engagement strategies that maximize attendance, participation, and measurable customer impact.</span></li> <li><span>Extend event reach through digital, social, and web channels in collaboration with cross-functional partners.</span></li> <li><span>Track performance against key metrics, report on ROI, and make data-driven recommendations for future improvements.</span></li> <li><span>Collaborate with creative and content teams to produce high-quality event materials, presentations, and promotional assets that align with Dropbox brand standards.</span></li> </ul> <h2>Requirements</h2> <ul> <li><span>8+ years of B2B marketing experience with a focus on event and field marketing</span><span>.</span></li> <li><span>Proven track record </span><span>of designing, scaling, and executing event marketing programs that drive measurable business impact.</span></li> <li><span>Strong understanding of B2B lead flow processes and experience working closely with marketing ops, sales ops, and direct sales teams.</span></li> <li><span>Skilled in managing complex, cross-functional projects and events, with a strong focus on detail, timelines, and flawless execution.</span></li> <li><span>Hands-on experience with budget management and vendor negotiations, ensuring cost efficiency and operational excellence across events of varying scale.</span></li> <li><span>Data-driven approach with experience analyzing program performance and providing actionable insights.</span></li> <li><span>Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships across Brand, </span><span>Integrated Marketing</span><span>, and other cross-functional teams.</span></li> <li><span>Travel approximately up to 30%</span></li> </ul> <h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li><span>Experience marketing SaaS or productivity solutions, with familiarity in both sales-assisted and product-led growth models.</span></li> <li><span>Hands-on experience supporting or managing event programs across virtual, hybrid, and in-person formats.</span></li> <li><span>Comfortable using event management platforms and marketing automation tools to plan, execute, and measure success.</span></li> </ul> <h2><span>Compensation</span></h2><div><div><div><p><span>US Zone 1</span></p> <p><span>This role is not available in Zone 1</span></p></div><div>US Zone 2</div><div><span>$142,300</span><span>—</span><span>$192,500 USD</span></div></div><div><div>US Zone 3</div><div><span>$126,500</span><span>—</span><span>$171,100 USD</span></div></div></div>
