We’re looking for a Commercial Counsel who thrives in a high-growth, fast-moving environment and can partner seamlessly with both revenue-facing and internal business teams.About the RoleAs Commercial Counsel, you will support a broad range of commercial transactions across Doppel’s global business. You’ll handle both customer-facing deals and vendor/supplier agreements, enabling sales growth while ensuring Doppel’s internal operations and procurement contracts are sound. This is a hands-on role with high visibility across the company.What You’ll Do<ul><li>Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including: • SaaS / license agreements • Service Level Agreements (SLAs) • Reseller &amp; channel partner agreements • Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) • Vendor / supplier / procurement agreements (IT, services, cloud infrastructure, professional services, etc.) • (Nice to have) Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and privacy/security addenda</li><li>Serve as a trusted advisor to Sales, Partner/Channel, Procurement, IT, Security, and Finance on contract terms, risks, and negotiation strategy.</li><li>Provide pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice that accelerates deal cycles while protecting company interests.</li><li>Improve templates, playbooks, and contracting processes to drive scalability and efficiency.</li><li>Support contract lifecycle management practices, approvals, and ongoing obligations tracking.</li><li>Collaborate with Security and Privacy teams on data protection and regulatory compliance as needed.</li></ul>What We’re Looking For<ul><li>J.D. (or equivalent) and active license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction.</li><li>4–7+ years of commercial legal experience, with significant in-house or tech/SaaS focus.</li><li>Strong track record negotiating SaaS license agreements, SLAs, reseller/partner agreements, NDAs, and vendor/procurement contracts.</li><li>Excellent drafting skills, business judgment, and ability to translate complex legal issues into practical guidance.</li><li>Self-starter comfortable working remotely, managing multiple priorities, and partnering cross-functionally.</li></ul>Nice to Have<ul><li>Experience negotiating DPAs, privacy/security addenda, or working with regulated industries.</li><li>Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools.</li><li>Background in cybersecurity, SaaS, or other data-sensitive technology environments.</li></ul>Why Join Doppel<ul><li>Competitive compensation range: $160,000 – $190,000 OTE, plus equity.</li><li>Remote-first flexibility with home office support.</li><li>Comprehensive benefits: health, dental, vision, 401(k), parental leave, PTO.</li><li>Opportunity to shape legal operations in a scaling cybersecurity SaaS company where legal is seen as an enabler.</li></ul><h1>Join Doppel</h1>Doppel is the first platform built to dismantle digital deception at scale.
