As a Property Tax Analyst, you will play a key role in managing and analyzing property tax obligations across a diverse real estate portfolio. Your responsibilities will include forecasting tax liabilities, supporting budgeting processes, preparing detailed tax reports, and conducting ad-hoc analyses to support strategic decision-making. You’ll collaborate closely with the Directors, Operations and Asset Managers within the Operations team to monitor tax assessments, track appeals, and evaluate the financial impact of property tax changes. At Digital Realty, your insights will directly influence operational efficiency and financial performance, making your contributions both visible and valued.  What you’ll do  As a Property Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing and validating monthly and annual property tax reports, supporting the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, and modeling the real estate tax implications for over 100 locations in our North American portfolio. You will consolidate and communicate key tax data to the operations and property managers overseeing assets across the country. Throughout the year, you’ll work closely with the Director to analyze tax assessments, manage appeal processes, and track changes in tax legislation. During reporting cycles, you’ll assist with forecasting and budgeting, including variance analysis, capital planning, and redevelopment impact assessments. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Manage end-to-end property tax operations across a real estate portfolio, including assessment reviews, return filings, appeals, and exemption applications</li><li>Maintain accurate records of property tax liabilities, deadlines, and payment schedules</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams, tax consultants, and assessors to resolve tax issues and support appeals.</li><li>Monitor and interpret changes in property tax laws and regulations to assess business impact</li><li>Evaluate the tax implications of leasing, development, and capital improvement projects</li><li>Prepare tax forecasts and budgets for individual sites and the overall  North American portfolio</li><li>Assist in the creation of reports and presentations for senior leadership</li></ul>   What you’ll need  <ul><li>A bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Real Estate or a similar field. </li><li>3+ years of experience in real estate analysis/property management or Real Estate Tax consulting firm.. </li><li>A team player mentality, sharp communication skills, strong enthusiasm to learn, and resourcefulness in situations with limited guidance.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.</li><li>Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.</li><li>Meticulous organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage projects to keep teams on track with deliverables in a high-pressure setting.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, operate with a strong sense of urgency, and turn in quality work quickly, under strict time constraints.</li><li>Project and process management of vendors and external tax consultants.</li></ul><a>Although we do not anticipate travel you should be willing and able to travel periodically for training and to visit sites as needed.</a><a href="#_msocom_1" name="_msoanchor_1">[CC1]</a>  A bit about usDigital Realty brings companies and data together by delivering the full spectrum of data center, colocation and interconnection solutions.
