If you have a deep understanding of Linux environments, are passionate about automation, and enjoy working in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment—this opportunity is for you.</p><p><strong>Tasks:</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain and improve Linux-based infrastructure</li><li>Automate repetitive tasks using scripts and configuration management tools</li><li>Monitor system performance and ensure system availability and reliability</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues</li><li>Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams</li><li>Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance</li></ul><ul></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>5+ years of proven experience as a Linux administrator.</li><li>Strong knowledge of RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) – intermediate to advanced</li><li>Solid experience with BASH scripting – intermediate or higher</li><li>Hands-on expertise with YUM and RPM package management</li><li>In-depth understanding of network management – IP, routing, firewall configuration</li><li>Confident in user and group administration, SSH key management</li><li>Practical experience with Ansible – basic to advanced (role-based deployment, playbooks)</li><li>Familiarity with automation tools from an administrative perspective</li><li>Experience working with YAML and Jinja in automation/configuration contexts</li><li>English – strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Hyrid setup within Hungary: 4 days HO/ 1 day office per week</li></ul><p><strong>Nice to have/preferred skills and experience (not required)</strong></p><ul><li>German – communication-level proficiency</li><li>Knowledge of Python or other scripting/programming languages</li><li>Familiarity with containerization platforms – Docker, Kubernetes</li><li>RHEL certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, or any other level)</li><li>Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) certificate</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><div></div><p>* Please be informed that our remote working possibility is only available within Hungary due to European taxation regulation.</p>
