As a Customer Data Analyst you will work closely with these departments to help deliver the data and insights that Dayshape and our customers need to be successful.  This role will focus on understanding our customers behaviours, needs and outcomes, helping us to strengthen adoption, retention and value delivery.  You will work closely with our existing Product Data Analyst, who focuses on product usage and feature performance.  Together you will form a complementary partnership and will work as a team to support each other. You will be deep diving into Dayshape’s customers use of the Dayshape application and uncovering insights regarding their business performance to drive customer success and growth strategies. Sharing those insights via intuitive dashboards and reports will be a core part of your responsibilities.  What you’ll do<ul><li>Work alongside our Product Data Analyst and in partnership with our engineering colleagues to extend our Dayshape analytics solution </li></ul><ul><li>Work with Product and Engineering team members to develop the mechanisms to obtain customer analytics.   </li></ul><ul><li>Partner with Dayshape customer facing teams, in particular Customer Success, and take the lead on creating, developing and maintaining customer-facing reports, dashboards and insights identifying trends, risks and opportunities that inform proactive engagement and intervention strategies and that enhance customer adoption, satisfaction and renewals.  </li></ul><ul><li>Connect with stakeholders and customers and deliver presentations on the narrative of the data  </li></ul><ul><li>Help identify opportunities to improve the customer experience, streamline service delivery and optimise outcomes through data-led recommendations. </li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with internal teams to turn data insights into product and business improvements through helping to identify opportunities to improve product performance and customer experience.    </li></ul><ul><li>Support Marketing and Sales departments with relevant data which can translate into marketable messaging, differentiators and unique value propositions.  </li></ul><ul><li>Assist in the development of KPIs across the breadth, depth, usability, frequency and sentiment measurements of Dayshape to help drive underlying performance analysis.  </li></ul>About you<ul><li>You have a proven track record in data analytics, analysis and visualisation </li></ul><ul><li>You have strong SQL and data visualisation skills and are comfortable using tools such as Excel, Power BI, MS Fabric, Tableau, SAP BI, Azure data explorer, and Azure Data Lake Store.  </li></ul><ul><li>You have experience working in or with professional services firms, bringing valuable context on how our customers operate, where they gain value and what challenges they face. </li></ul><ul><li>Comfortable with uncertainty and enjoy working within an ambiguous environment where we don’t always have established ways of working, but you are willing to get stuck in to define these processes for the future  </li></ul><ul><li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner </li></ul><ul><li>Comfortable discussing technical concepts, with an appreciation of engineering fundamentals </li></ul><ul><li>Have a strong ability to operate both independently and in a collaborative team environment </li></ul><ul><li>You have a natural curiosity and are passionate about learning new skills and technologies </li></ul><ul><li>You have strong collaboration skills and can work closely with other data analysts, and other stakeholders including product managers, engineers, and customer success representatives, to gather requirements and ensure the successful implementation of data-driven solutions. </li></ul><ul><li>You have a keen attention to detail, allowing you to spot patterns, trends, and anomalies within datasets, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the analysis performed </li></ul><ul><li>You are a proactive problem-solver and can identify challenges, propose solutions, and take the initiative to improve data analysis processes and reporting methods </li></ul><ul><li>Passionate about delving into the detail  </li></ul>Bonus points if you have<ul><li>Experience working with complex enterprise software applications </li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, SQL, Kusto, Python </li></ul>What you’ll get <ul><li>Salary between £32,000-43,000, depending on experience  </li></ul><ul><li>At least £1,000 per year to spend on professional and personal development </li></ul><ul><li>33 days holiday per year (including bank holidays), increasing by 1 day each year to a maximum of 40 days </li></ul><ul><li>Paid four-week sabbatical in your fifth anniversary year on top of your holiday entitlement </li></ul><ul><li>Enhanced family leave policies </li></ul><ul><li>Private healthcare and rewards through Vitality </li></ul><ul><li>Income protection and death in service cover </li></ul><ul><li>Matched 5% auto-enrolment workplace pension scheme </li></ul><ul><li>Access to wellbeing offerings, such as our Employee Assistance Programme and a dedicated counselling service </li></ul><ul><li>Innovation Week twice a year - We typically work from 09:00 - 17:30 from Monday to Friday, though we can be flexible around this, just let us know. We have a strong preference for someone in/around Edinburgh, though we’re open to the possibility of this being a remote role (as long as youre in the UK). Were making the most of hybrid working, so you wont need to come into the office everyday (unless you want to!).
