In this role, you’ll be part of a high-performing, collegial and prominent Commercial team that partners with our global GTM team and directly contributes to driving Cribl’s growth. This role reports to the Director, Commercial Counsel. As An Active Member Of Our Team, You Will… <ul> <li>Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, including SaaS and software licensing contracts, partnership, reseller and MSP contracts, distribution agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and vendor contracts;</li> <li>Collaborate with and support the partner channel teams in facilitating and negotiating deals with partners;</li> <li>Provide expert legal advice and support to sales and other cross-functional teams on legal issues, including problem-solving with a focus on providing available options, discussing risks for options, and executing on options the client selects;</li> <li>Use standardized contract review and risk-assessment processes, including documenting contracts and obligations, and use contract and matter management tools and software; and</li> <li>Coordinate with other internal team members on cross-functional issues, including privacy, security, compliance, and product, as needed.</li> <li>We are a remote-first company and work happens across many time-zones – you may be required to occasionally perform duties outside your standard working hours </li> </ul> If You’ve Got It - We Want It <ul> <li>At least 5 years of experience in a commercial in-house role at a technology company or similar technical experience, including experience in drafting and reviewing contracts using a standardized review and risk-assessment process;</li> <li>Passion for the law, technology, and eagerness to learn;</li> <li>Experience supporting and collaborating with sales and partner channel teams in a technology company to achieve business objectives within the risk parameters established by the Legal team;</li> <li>Ability to build consensus and drive alignment across many internal and external stakeholders and teams;</li> <li>Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with a demonstrated ability to identify problems, propose solutions and execute;</li> <li>Conversant with business and legal operations systems such as Ironclad, Salesforce and Guru;</li> <li>Comfort in a remote environment, self-motivated to work asynchronously and independently as the manager and team members sit in different time zones throughout the US and EMEA;</li> <li>Ability to work with a sense of urgency, collaboratively in a team-focused environment;</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write concisely and to communicate clearly and cross-functionally at all levels of the organization to support business-led decisions;</li> <li>Excellent attention to detail;</li> <li>A great sense of humor and a customer service mindset; and</li> <li>Juris Doctorate and a relevant license to practice law in good standing.</li> </ul> Salary Range ($142,000 - $165,000) The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location.
