We are truly a great place to work!We are looking for an Infrastructure &amp; Development Engineer, with a hybrid background in software development and system operations, to join our Release Engineering Department. You will design new services, support existing systems, and integrate them into a unified, reliable infrastructure. The role combines hands-on service development with automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices. Your work will involve analyzing service dependencies, implementing new tools, and streamlining workflows to improve both developer productivity and customer-facing solutions.Key Contributions<ul> <li> Researching and applying industry best practices. </li> <li> Developing custom tooling tailored to organizational needs. </li> <li> Integrating third-party services to improve transparency, efficiency, and reliability. </li> <li> Proactively driving improvements in scalability, stability, and usability. </li> </ul>Responsibilities<ul> <li> Service creation &amp; integration – designing, implementing, and integrating services across the infrastructure. </li> <li> System reliability – diagnosing and resolving service issues; ensuring continuous, stable operations. </li> <li> Process automation – defining and applying best practices for automation and observability. </li> <li> Tooling – building custom scripts/tools; integrating external solutions when valuable. </li> <li> Collaboration – working closely with development teams to optimize deployment and operational workflows.</li> </ul>To thrive in this role, you should have:<ul> <li>Strong knowledge of Linux-based systems, including troubleshooting and recovery. </li> <li>Bonus: experience building RPM/DEB packages.</li> <li>Terraform for managing cloud VMs and services across OpenNebula, Hetzner, and DigitalOcean. </li> <li>Ansible for authoring and maintaining playbooks for service deployment and configuration. </li> <li>Familiarity with AWX / Ansible Tower (nice to have, but not required). </li> <li>Hands-on experience with Grafana and Prometheus.</li> <li>Familiarity with Loki (a plus). </li> <li>Proficiency in Python and Bash for automation and tooling. </li> <li>Experience with Go (a plus). </li> <li>Solid experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including integration with external tools and test automation. </li> </ul>What We Expect<ul> <li>Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for technical challenges.</li> <li>Ability to investigate and improve systems end-to-end.</li> <li>Curiosity and initiative to adopt and implement best practices.</li> <li>Balance between operational support and long-term infrastructure improvements.</li> <li>Mindset focused on transparency, efficiency, and reliability.</li> </ul>
