If youre a proactive, flexible, and detail-oriented go-getter that thrives when faced with new challenges...this role is meant for you!</div> <div> </div> <div><strong>The Role:</strong></div> <div> <ul> <li>Hands on role, leading the Company’s tax department, managing all aspects of tax compliance and tax accounting for the Company.</li> <li>Work across a broad spectrum of tax disciplines, including tax provision, international tax, US tax, state and local, indirect taxes, compensation and transfer pricing.</li> <li>Oversee, coordinate and manage the Company’s third-party tax providers, ensuring that all tax-related issues are identified, communicated and resolved in a timely manner.</li> <li>Partnering with business and finance leadership to execute global tax strategies.</li> <li>Review of new legislation, filing, and reporting standards to ensure compliance and provide analysis on rates, accruals, and other financial data.</li> <li>Resolve notices from tax authorities</li> <li>Manage US sales tax and global indirect taxes in Avalara, coordinating registration of new jurisdictions, filing and payment of US sales and indirect taxes.</li> <li>Prepare month end close tax accrual journal entries and reconciliations.</li> <li>Oversee cross functional tax projects including R&amp;D credit studies and section 382 ownership change analyses.</li> <li>Assist in setting tax strategy for planned M&amp;A activity.</li> <li>Work closely with the broader accounting team in setting up recording and reconciling monthly activities within the companies Netsuite general ledger</li> </ul> </div> <div> </div> <div><strong>Qualifications:</strong></div> <div> <ul> <li>10+ years of tax experience with a mix of Big 4 and in-house experience</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation preferred</li> <li>Outstanding analytical, organization and project management skills</li> <li>Strong tax compliance background and advanced tax technical and research skills</li> <li>International expansion experience is a plus</li> <li>Proven ability to work with external partners</li> </ul> </div> <div>#LI-REMOTE</div> <div>#LI-JMS </div><div><div><div><p><strong><span>Salary and Benefits</span></strong></p> <p><em>At ClickUp, we believe in transparency and fairness in compensation.
