This senior role will work closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to ensure consistency in financial practices and reporting standards across different countries. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of international tax laws and regulations, as well as experience managing complex multi-country accounting processes</div><h3>Key Responsibilities - Multi-Country Accounting Oversight</h3><ul><li>Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals and external providers across multiple regions.</li><li>Develop and implement standardized accounting practices, procedures, and controls across all locations.</li><li>Manage accounting teams (internal/external) to ensure that financial reporting aligns with global standards and local regulations.</li><li>Oversee all international accounting operations, ensuring that accounting records are accurate, complete, and in compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS).</li><li>Coordinate the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes across different countries, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.</li><li>Maintain oversight over intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and transfer pricing compliance.</li></ul><h3>Tax Compliance &amp; Strategy</h3><ul><li>Oversee all global tax compliance and reporting, ensuring adherence to international tax laws, treaties, and regulations in each country.</li><li>Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize liabilities and optimize the company’s tax position across multiple jurisdictions.</li><li>Collaborate with external tax advisors and local teams to manage audits, tax filings, and documentation for global tax compliance.</li></ul><h3>Internal Controls &amp; Risk Management</h3><ul><li>Monitor effective internal controls and financial processes to safeguard the company’s assets and ensure accurate financial reporting (SOX)</li><li>Ensure that all accounting processes are in compliance with relevant accounting principles, tax regulations, and corporate governance standards.</li></ul><h3>Systems &amp; Process Improvement</h3><ul><li>Implement best practices in accounting operations to streamline processes, improve automation, and reduce manual interventions.</li><li>Stay up to date with global financial regulations, accounting standards, and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.</li></ul><h3>Qualification:</h3><ul><li><b>Education:</b> Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is a plus).</li></ul><h3>Experience and skills:</h3><ul><li>10+ years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing multi-country accounting teams and international tax processes.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions.</li><li>Proven experience in managing complex multi-country accounting operations and tax compliance.</li><li>Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.</li><li>Proficient in accounting software (ERP systems, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.</li><li>Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic international business environment.</li></ul><h3>What we offer</h3><ul><li>Competitive salary and benefits package.</li><li>Opportunity to work with a dynamic, global team at the forefront of innovation in the Artificial intelligence sector.</li><li>A collaborative and inclusive work environment where you can grow professionally.</li></ul><div><b>* Please submit your CV/Resume in English *</b></div><div><br /></div><div><b>Our commitment to our people</b></div><div>We empower individuals to celebrate their uniqueness here at InstaDeep.
