We are looking for a Senior Lead Software Engineer in Bangalore who designs, develops, tests, and maintains high-quality software applications in line with business and technical requirements. The position requires strong technical execution skills, ownership of deliverables, and the ability to contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processesAbout You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  <ul><li>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.</li><li>At least 7 years of strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, MVC frameworks, and microservices-based architectures.</li><li>At least 7 years of progressive experience in software development with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.</li><li>Prior experience delivering complex enterprise applications from concept to deployment.</li><li>Expertise in building REST APIs and microservices architecture, including encapsulation of legacy systems.</li><li>Strong understanding of software engineering principles such as SOLID, DRY, and design patterns.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing practices.</li><li>Knowledge of application and web servers (e.g., Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss).</li><li>Proficiency in database design and development (SQL and NoSQL).</li><li>Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps tools.</li><li>Ability to follow and enforce design and delivery best practices for high-quality, maintainable code</li></ul>It would be great if you also had<ul><li>Ability to evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve systems and processes.</li><li>Experience in analyzing customer requirements and delivering scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.</li><li>Strong focus on continuous improvement, innovation, and delivering value-added solutions.</li></ul>What will you be doing in this role? <ul><li>Lead project teams and provide technical expertise across multiple engineering initiatives.</li><li>Define the architecture, design, and development of enterprise-grade software solutions.</li><li>Apply deep technical knowledge to product development, enhancing systems and identifying value-added opportunities.</li><li>Propose, develop, review, and improve engineering procedures to ensure delivery of high-quality systems.</li><li>Mentor and guide engineers, fostering skill development and adherence to best practices.</li><li>Execute and enforce departmental policies, procedures, and engineering processes.</li><li>Act as an internal consultant, providing cross-functional technical guidance beyond immediate team boundaries.</li><li>Recommend and initiate innovative projects leveraging technical and product insights.</li><li>Continuously research and evaluate emerging technologies for integration into company products and solutions.</li><li>Drive automation of testing, ensure comprehensive unit test coverage, and deliver maintainable, high-quality code.</li><li>Prepare clear and thorough technical documentation for applications and systems.</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements, ensuring customer needs are met in design and implementation</li></ul>About the Team   You will be joining a team responsible for creating and maintaining internal tools which allows the company to take unstructured data available on the internet into structured data which can then be cross referenced and analyzed. The data will be exposed to multiple products which are in term provided to our customers.
