We’ll enable growth and progress together.Cloud Security Engineer to design, architect, install and maintain public cloud network infrastructure and services for supporting internet facing applications, enhance cloud security by certifying and operationalizing services to meet business timelines for moving applications to the cloud. Responsibilities:<ul><li>Evaluate existing security configurations and provide actionable recommendations to maintain a highly secure cloud environment.</li><li>Ensure all proposed solutions are enterprise ready, highly secure, automated, and scalable.</li><li>Design and implement cloud native network security controls.</li><li>Serve as a technology subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders and provide direction for all firm mandated controls and compliance initiatives.</li><li>Adapt quickly to changing threat landscapes and business requirements.</li></ul> Qualifications:<ul><li>5+ years of relevant experience as a security engineer for Google Cloud and AWS.</li><li>Expert level understanding of Google Cloud and AWS native networking and security services.</li><li>Experience in DevOps and agile methodologies and automated solution delivery and testing through CI/CD pipelines.</li><li>Hands on experience developing and engineering software solutions and services.</li><li>Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.</li><li>Ability to work in a cross-functional environment and partner with virtual teams.</li><li>Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative.</li></ul> Critical Competencies:<ul><li>Hands-on experience developing and engineering software solutions and services, with a focus on cloud-native applications</li><li>Expert-level understanding of AWS and GCP cloud-native networking services</li><li>Proven ability to implement network segmentation strategies effectively using these services.</li><li>Demonstrated experience configuring and managing logging and monitoring systems in cloud (AWS, GCP) and hybrid environments.</li><li>Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.</li><li>Knowledge of container security and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.</li><li>Must-Have: Extensive experience with CI/CD methodologies and tools.</li><li>Must-Have: Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployment using Terraform.</li><li>Must-Have: Proficiency in Python, Golang, AWS/GCP SDKs</li></ul> Education:<ul><li>Bachelors degree in computer related field or equivalent work experience</li><li>Google Cloud/AWS Security or other relevant Cloud security certifications</li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group: Technology------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Systems &amp; Engineering------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Primary Location:Irving Texas United States------------------------------------------------------Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$125,760.00 - $188,640.00 In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
