We’ll enable growth and progress together.Responsibilities<ul><li>Work across Container products and Secrets products, across Public and Private Cloud, as well as Cloud native specific products</li><li>Architect and build tools and platforms that provide capabilities for SRE</li><li>Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and partners across Engineering and Operations as well as partner teams within the wider Citi organization</li><li>Actively own production level incidents and mitigate to resolution</li><li>Embed into platform engineering teams to support and further optimize platforms and related applications on a rotating basis </li><li>Help organize, secure, and automate existing infrastructure and deployments</li><li>Develop new capabilities, while coordinating implementations across a large number of teams including infrastructure, developer tools and Information Security</li><li>Adapt existing capabilities to the teams specific circumstances, technology stack and business requirements as needed</li><li>Collaborate with developers to provide feedback and drive operational improvements within our products and operations infrastructure</li><li>Engage in training and mentoring to help develop other engineers through the SRE mindset</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>6+ years experience in SRE with experience around Apps Development and/or Systems Analysis working with most or all of the technologies and experience detailed below</li><li>Prior experience working towards SLIs, SLOs and observability capabilities at a large scale</li><li>Experience with Public Cloud technologies i.e. AWS, GCP, or Azure</li><li>Experience with Secrets products such as HashiCorp Vault or CyberArk</li><li>Experience of Kubernetes/k8s and container technologies such as Docker, OpenShift and EKS</li><li>4+ years experience in Python (preferable) or Java, on large scale systems alongside Linux based scripting languages</li><li>Hands-on experience working on observability, logging and metrics toolsets</li><li>Expert proficiency in navigating large, complex enterprises/organizations</li><li>Ability to work effectively under pressure in alignment to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements </li><li>Experience working in CISO/Cybersecurity or Technology Security led organizations is preferred </li><li>Experience in GenAI or supporting GenAI platforms is a big plus</li></ul>Education<ul><li>Bachelors degree in Computer Science/related degree or equivalent relevant experience required</li><li>Any industry and/or technology related certifications are a plus</li></ul>This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
