Responsible for collaborating with the product team, software engineers and test automation engineers to design and incrementally deliver high-value, easily maintainable web and mobile solutions that are secure and adhere to acceptable quality &amp; performance benchmarks. Responsibilities Include: Front-end Development: <ul><li>Develop and maintain user interfaces. </li></ul><ul><li>Ensure the user interface is responsive, accessible, and cross-browser compatible. </li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement designs and ensure a seamless user experience. </li></ul><ul><li>Optimize front-end code for performance and scalability. </li></ul>Back-end Development: <ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic. </li></ul><ul><li>Implement and maintain databases using SQL technologies. </li></ul><ul><li>Develop APIs for communication between the front-end and back-end systems. </li></ul><ul><li>Ensure security, authentication, and authorization measures are implemented to protect data and resources. </li></ul>Database Management: <ul><li>Design and optimize database schemas to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. </li><li>Write database queries and optimize their performance. </li><li>Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security.</li></ul>Version Control and Collaboration: <ul><li>Use version control systems to manage codebase changes and collaborate with team members. </li><li>Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, readability, and maintainability. </li><li>Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and quality assurance engineers, to deliver high-quality software. </li></ul>Qualifications: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology related field</li><li>5+ years engineering experience required </li></ul><ul><li>Experience in server-side application development </li></ul><ul><li>Experience developing AWS cloud-based (Azure, GCP is a plus) SaaS application and platforms </li></ul><ul><li>Experience with React Native or similar mobile development tools </li><li>Strong Node.js skills  </li></ul>Skills &amp; Interpersonal Behaviors: <ul><li>Excellent oral and written communications; an ability to present information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, gains understanding </li></ul><ul><li>Proven organization skills with attention to detail and follow-up </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to work independently and on a team </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks  </li></ul><ul><li>Comfort with ambiguity and working without well-established policies and practices </li></ul>Work Location: <ul><li>Remote; preference may be given to individuals geographically located near current Centivo offices  </li></ul>Values: <ul><li>Resilient – This is wicked hard.
