The candidate must have strong experience with ASC740 and hands-on experience in preparing, reviewing, and managing federal, state, and foreign corporate tax returns and income tax provision and reporting disclosures for Forms 10-Q and 10-K.Further, the Tax Manager will lead the tax department’s efforts to apply technology solutions to drive efficiency and strategic value.This hands-on role requires the ability to act both tactically and strategically, taking initiative to assess and identify risk and develop and execute solutions in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.  <h2>Responsibilities and Duties:</h2><ul><li>Proactively manage all aspects of the quarterly and annual financial reporting for income taxes on a global basis.</li><li>Ensure tax accounting processes, documentation, and related systems are compliant with internal control (SOX) requirements.</li><li>Prepare GAAP and non-GAAP effective tax rate and cash tax forecasts providing insights critical to Company decision making.</li><li>Analyze and model the impact of special tax projects and tax planning initiatives, business changes, and proposed and enacted tax law.</li><li>Collaborate with various departments (e.g. Accounting, FP&amp;A, Legal, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales Ops, etc.) to ensure proper tax implications are considered for Company transactions and initiatives.</li><li>Work with external service providers overseeing U.S. federal, state, and local income tax compliance including estimated and corporate tax calculations and filings.</li><li>Assist with development, execution, and monitoring of transfer pricing strategies and preparing or reviewing transfer pricing documentation.</li><li>Assist with and manage foreign income tax filings with external service providers.</li><li>Identify opportunities for process improvement and digital transformation, driving initiatives to automate routine tasks and leverage advanced analytics for tax planning and risk management.</li><li>Stay current with emerging trends in tax technology, AI, and automation, and proactively recommend innovative solutions to support the company’s strategic goals.</li><li>Train and mentor tax team members on new technologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and digital literacy within the tax function.</li></ul><h2></h2><h2>Qualifications:</h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA and/or Masters in Taxation preferred</li><li>5+ years of relevant experience in public accounting, multinational corporation, or a mix of both.</li><li>Core competency in income tax accounting (ASC740) and exposure to complex tax accounting topics including share-based compensation, investments in foreign subsidiaries and joint ventures, uncertain tax positions, valuation allowance analysis, etc.</li><li>Working knowledge of and/or exposure to US international tax concepts including transfer pricing, source of income, foreign tax credits, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, etc.</li><li>Working knowledge of and/or exposure to foreign income and indirect tax concepts.</li><li>Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Experience with ERP systems (such as Oracle Cloud).</li><li>Experience with tax technology applications (such as OneSource) and process automation tools (such as Alteryx) preferred.</li><li>Exposure to AI-powered tax research, compliance, or reporting tools.</li><li>Strong interest in staying current with emerging tax technology trends and fostering a culture of innovation within the tax team.</li></ul>Location: Remote-based position located in the United States or Canada. #LI-RemoteThe base pay range for this position varies based on the geographic location.
