Entity: Customers &amp; Products Job Family Group: Procurement &amp; Supply Chain Management Group Job Description: Demand Planners play a key role in ensuring a robust demand plan is created for our regional teams to support the regional Sales &amp; Operational Planning (S&amp;OP) process, and by bringing together customer requirements and assumptions through very close collaboration with local Sales teams.By using our Global Planning Digital tool, Demand Planners own the demand plan using system-generated and cleansed statistical model data and by layering-in appropriate Intelligence from Sales and Marketing teams.  This includes a detailed analysis of key data, insights and assumptions, and by working closely with regional Sales teams, gathering any relevant adjustments to the demand plan to reflect our customers’ genuine realistic unconstrained demand. This position requires proven demand planning experience, combining strong statistical modelling skills within our digital planning tool and the ability to foster positive relationships with Sales and Marketing in the markets to create a solid and accurate Demand Plan.What you will deliver (responsibilities)Articulate key outcomes and accountabilities that this person will deliver to be successful in this role. Ensure you describe the deliverables the results you want the job holder to deliver and not the process you expect them to apply to get to these outcomesDemand Forecasting &amp; Analysis<ul><li>Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and statistical models within our global planning tool. This includes appropriately cleansing historical events, running robust statistical modelling, and deciding what is appropriate Intelligence to add looking forward.</li><li>Monitor and analyze forecast accuracy, forecast value, forecast bias, through multiple levels of granularity, identifying and addressing deviations for action and alignment with portfolio Sales team.</li><li>Provide insights on demand trends, seasonality, and risks to improve planning accuracy.</li></ul>Collaboration &amp; Stakeholder Management<ul><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work closely with Regional Sales and Marketing team members and align on realistic Demand Plans to foster into Supply Planning teams.</li><li>Support the Sales &amp; Operations Planning process by presenting updated demand insights along with key changes to assumptions, working with the S&amp;OP Manager.</li><li>Work closely with Sales, Finance and regional S&amp;OP Manager on opportunities and vulnerabilities to the demand forecast to assess impact on attainment of business targets.</li><li>Collaborate with other regional teams and the Global Demand Planning Excellence Lead to ensure adoption of required global frameworks and standard processes.</li></ul>Systems &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Apply our demand planning tool to improve forecasting capabilities.</li><li>Maintain and improve reporting dashboards to track key performance indicators such as forecast accuracy, bias, and inventory levels.</li><li>Continuously improve demand planning processes through data-driven insights and standard methodologies.</li></ul>What you will need to be successful (experience, job requirements &amp; qualifications)<ul><li>These are the essential requirements of the job description and should focus on quantifiable criteria</li><li>Consider whether degree and/or professional qualification is required to succeed in the role.
