Entity: Customers &amp; Products Job Family Group: Procurement &amp; Supply Chain Management Group Job Description: Let me tell you about the role :Our Demand Planners play a key role in ensuring we generate a demand plan for our regional markets), and in supporting the local Sales &amp; Operations Planning (S&amp;OP) process, bringing together our customer requirements and assumptions through close collaboration with Sales teams.By using our Global Planning Digital tool, Demand Planners lead the demand plan for system-generated and cleansed statistical model and add in appropriate Intelligence from Sales and Marketing teams.  This includes detailed analysis of key data, insights and assumptions, and by collaborating with local Sales teams, they adjust the plan to reflect our customer genuine realistic unconstrained demand. This position requires validated demand planning experience, combining statistical modelling skills with our digital planning tool and the ability to develop positive and collaborative working relationships with Sales and Marketing in the markets to create a robust Demand Plan.What you will deliver ?Demand Forecasting &amp; Analysis<ul><li>Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and statistical models within our global Planning tool Kinaxis. This includes appropriately cleansing historical events, running robust statistical modelling, and deciding what is appropriate Intelligence to include looking forward.</li><li>Monitor and analyze forecast accuracy, forecast value and forecast bias, by working at multiple levels of granularity, identifying and addressing deviations for action and alignment with the Portfolio Sales team.</li><li>Provide ongoing insights on demand trends, seasonality, and risks to improve planning accuracy.</li></ul>Collaboration &amp; Stakeholder Management<ul><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work closely with Sales and Marketing teams and to align on realistic Demand Plans that feed into the Supply Planning teams.</li><li>Support the Sales &amp; Operations Planning process by presenting updated demand insights along with key changes to assumptions, working with the S&amp;OP Manager</li><li>Work with Sales, Finance and S&amp;OP Manager on opportunities and vulnerabilities to the demand forecast to assess impact on attainment of business targets.</li><li>Collaborate with other regional teams and Global Demand Planning Excellence Lead to ensure continued adoption of required global frameworks and standard methodologies.</li></ul>Systems &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Apply demand planning tool to enhance forecasting capabilities.</li><li>Maintain and improve reporting dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) (eg. forecast accuracy, bias, and inventory levels).</li><li>Continuously improve demand planning processes through data-driven insights and standard methodologies.</li></ul>​What you will need to be successful ?<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.</li><li>3–5 years of experience in demand planning or related role in consumer goods, food &amp; beverage, or manufacturing industries.</li><li>Proven experience as a Demand Planner using an advanced Planning tool such as Kinaxis.</li><li>Strong analytical skills and proficiency in supply chain software (Kinaxis desirable) and ERP systems (SAP ECC, S4 Hana)</li><li>Strong communication skills - written and verbal with the ability to work effectively with Commercial and Sales teams based in other countries.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. </li></ul>Why join us?· At bp, we support our people to learn and grow in a diverse and challenging environment.
