This role blends operational leadership, devopsexpertise, and strategic endpoint management oversight to ensure our systems, applications, and data remain secure, reliable, and high performing. </span></div><div><span> </span></div><div><span>The Director will oversee the IT operations &amp; engineering team responsible for internal devOps, endpoints (Windows, macOS, virtual/physical), enterprise platforms integrations. This position requires close collaboration with our SVP of Information Security, IT, GRC, and business units to meet business, security, and client requirements while ensuring consistent, high-quality end-user experience. </span></div><h3>Information Security Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols</li><li>Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets</li><li>Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)</li><li>Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information</li></ul><h3>Role and Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead the strategy, design, and execution of IT operations engineering to ensure stability, scalability, and performance across global environments</li><li>Serve as primary escalation point for DevOps-related account issues and service requests; collaborate with business units and internal teams to triage and resolve problems</li><li>Support project setups, deployments, and infrastructure verification in alignment with internal best practices</li><li>Continuously monitor automated alert systems, triaging events and ensuring proactive resolution</li><li>Collaborate with IT Operations &amp; Engineering and business teams to deliver internal solutions that meet operational, security, and client requirements</li><li>Track industry trends and emerging DevOps technologies to inform future capabilities</li><li>Oversee the Endpoint Engineering team in the design, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Windows and macOS environments (physical and virtual)</li><li>Provide reporting and updates to leadership on OS upgrades, migrations, and patch deployments through MDM tools (Intune, Kandji)</li><li>Ensure endpoint environments and applications remain secure, reliable, and compliant with enterprise standards</li><li>Evaluate and recommend emerging endpoint technologies to improve security, performance, and end-user experience</li><li>Act as primary liaison between IT operations, information security, and business units to ensure alignment of priorities and solutions</li><li>Partner with Supplier Risk Management, Cyber Defense, and Application Security teams to resolve operational and security-related issues</li><li>Represent IT Operations in executive forums, client engagements, and compliance audits</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date system documentation, operational procedures, and end-user guides</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>8–10+ years of progressive experience in IT operations, DevOps, endpoint engineering, and enterprise platform management, with proven leadership experience</li><li>Certifications in relevant MDM platforms (Intune, Kandji, or equivalent)</li><li>Expertise in endpoint management across Windows and macOS environments, including automation workflows and enterprise-scale deployments</li><li>Strong technical understanding of infrastructure, enterprise platforms, and security technologies</li><li>Strong experience with SaaS and PaaS platforms</li><li>Solid understanding of on-premises infrastructure</li><li>Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, and infrastructure-as-code automation concepts</li><li>Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Strong collaboration and communication skills; demonstrated ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent professional experience considered</li></ul><div>We invite you to stay connected with us by subscribing to our monthly job openings alert <a href="https://www.bounteous.com/careers/#contact-us-footer">here</a>.</div><div><br /></div><div>Bounteous is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
