We’re looking for a system administrator who will harden and sustain multiple environments such as Windows, Linux, and application stacks, in accordance with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and remediate findings from Tenable ACAS vulnerability scans.As a system administrator on our project, you’ll support STIG compliance by planning, implementing, and validating STIG checklists for Windows Server, RHEL, and key COTS or GOTS applications, documenting deviations and developing POA&amp;Ms when full compliance is not feasible, and automating STIG baselines where possible, including Ansible, PowerShell DSC, and Chef InSpec. You’ll support ACAS Remediation by reviewing weekly ACAS scan reports, triaging vulnerabilities, coordinating remediation with system owners, and verifying closure by rescanning and updating ticketing systems such as Jira or Remedy. You’ll submit and track changes through the CM process, and maintain up-to-date system baselines and asset inventories. You’ll generate monthly compliance status reports and executive summaries. You’ll also maintain SOPs, hardening guides, and audit artifacts for RMF assessments. Your system administrator expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. You’ll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning.  We focus on growing as a team, so you’ll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
